The problem is this error:
"Xcode 4.1 requires mac os x lion.please install xcode for 10.6!"

Since you were able to successfully install PS13, can you please suggest what is happening when you are trying to open the Product? Are you getting a splash screen or is it not even giving that? Try to disable the graphics card & Switching back to the On board graphics and try again.

I've just installed iTunes on my Windows 8.1 (64-bit) laptop, but i can't open it. It keeps telling me that Apple application was not found. What should i do now?
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if AAS won't install normally.

I have Creative Cloud installed and Photoshop installed, but I can not open the program itself. No idea why, everything is up to date and I was using it just fine yesterday.

if it is rel 2 u have to install first 9ias infrastructur and then portal.
portal can be access at http://hostname.port/pls/portal
where hostname and port is where u have installed the portal and the port number where apache listens

I bought a new ipad air but when i install the apps , all of them are gone , but i app store still are and says you can open it. But it can not open.
The apps available to you are dependent on your location. If you are not in the USA, then you cannot get the USA app store. Whilst you may think that is unfair, it has been a part of the stardard terms and conditions you agreed to when you setup the iOS device in question originally, as well as every time you click agree to the terms and conditions.
This is done because of two things, firstly there are many legal and semi-legal reasons that an iOS app store download is available in one territory and not another, in addition to this, it also allows apple to provide language specific content, as well as team up with companies and organisations within individual organisations in order to provide you with exclusive offers, content, and information, which it would not otherwise be able to do.
Rules for the iOS app store are also applied in varing forms for the music store, the books store, and the iTunes U content library.
I can very much understand your fustraition, as someone who spent a considerable portion of his life, especially during the years he grew up, living in California, USA, but now living in London, UK, I too find it very fustraiting that you cannot always get the same content from one country to another, especially when most marketing for iOS apps originates in the USA these days.

Just installed OS Yosemite, and now I can't open Illustrator CS6. Asks me to update my Java, but I check and my Java is up to date. Please help!
Some people have reported reinstalling the Apple 2014-001 Java update has helped.

I couldn't open the files from a Canon XF 300 into Final Cut Pro 7, so I downloade the plugin from Apple but still can't open the files. I opened and clicked on the installer icon. I'm not sure the plugin was actually installed. C

Message was edited by: BigDealCam123As you probably know the Canon plug-in enables Log & Transfer in FCP7. I'm not sure whether it works with Final Cut Express or not.
Look in Applications>Canon Utilities. I'm running 10.6 as well and that is where it's located on my machine.

I.ve downloaded itunes and installed it on my desktop with Windows XP but i can't open it. What can I do about it. I have already removed itunes completely and reinstalled it, but it did not help.
Are you using Numbers? Are they, or are they using Microsoft Excel? (in which case you would have to export it as Excel). Are they perhaps using a different version of Numbers? (You can also export to Numbers '09 format).

I downloaded and installed Firefox but I can't open the program.
This is the third time I've downloaded Firefox on this computer and have been unable to open it. I allowed it to become my default browser during installation but clicking on any weblink yielded this error message: "There was a problem sending the command to the program." When I changed the default browser back to Internet Explorer I could open websites using it, and also using Google Chrome, but still can't open Firefox.

I downloaded the adobe XI software and it shows in my Adobe download assistant as downloaded but I can not open it and it is not a part of my applications. Very frustrating download process as I just want to convert a PDF file to an editable word document...
Odonnells52 you will still need to install Adobe Acrobat Professional prior to being able to make edits to PDF or utilize Acrobat. By default the installation files have been saved to your download folder.
If you continue to face difficulties with the Adobe Download Assistant then please see Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant.
You can also download the installation files directly from Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X if you are unable to locate the downloaded installation files. -
