I just accidentally wiped out my entire music library. How can I get apple to help me download the purchased songs again? The songs went to my recycle bin and I immediately restored them but the files seem to have dissappered!
I just accidentally wiped out my entire music library. I sent everything to recycling bin and then immediately hit restore all items as I knew what I had just done. Now I can find where those files went. Is there anyway Apple can just send me my purchased songs again?

Do you see them on the phone? If not, they are NOT "still in the phones hardware".
It's hard to suggest a course of action when we don't know what you did and you are unable to tell us.
If they are not on your computer, and they are not on the phone, I don't know what else to suggest...
Were you using iCloud? Did you have photo stream enabled? If you did, they would have been uploaded to iCloud. If you did not, then they are gone. -
How can we get Apple to go back to the great look of their OS systems?
I was forced to upgrade my iPad to OS7.1.1 from the final OS6 upgrade. I am so disappointed withe the new look. I find it ugly and uninspiring with all the grey and flatness. It seems they are copying the look of lesser products from other companies. They have lost the focus of productivity combined with esthetics that was the Jobs vision.
I have been with Apple since their first portable computer and have stayed with Apple, watching the innovation with an eye for beauty and Apple has clearly departed from that growth. So far I haven't seen any big change in the system that makes me say wow to make up for the drab, flat look. What made Apple stand out from the pack is gone. I will not upgrade my phone for the ability to use my fingerprint to lock the phone, a feature I have yet to see on my iPad.
Can we petition Apple to go pack to the look we have had all through their products in the past? Does anyone else feel the loss of the beauty of previous OSs? Is there an area where I can add my voice on this disappointing look? Without the WOW factor I see myself shifting to price as a bigger factor in future purchases. Other companies are matching many of the ease of use features of Apple so if their isn't any wow in looks I see my loyalty fading with the drab grey I am looking at as I type this post.
Why ever would Apple take out the look that put them ahead of the pack?

I found out that I have some lost contacts on my iphone 5s, they dont appear when I search but if the contact calls me I see their name. How can I get those contacts to be on the list?
You could check settings > mail contacts and calandars and see if there are any accounts (like icloud gmail yahoo) listed and if they have contacts on. Its possible if contacts were synced to one of these accounts that turning them back on will recover the missing contacts.

How can I get my books that I download from the Library that are WMA files into my I tunes so I can listen to them. They have a ton of books but I can only listen to them from my windows media player and I wouldlove to download to my I pod but I have tried everything I can think of it they won't go over. Someone said all I had to do was copy them over and they would convert but I can't even get them to copy. Thanks.
Well it started happening AGAIN with my 2nd IPod. No matter what I did, it Itunes would NOT restore it!
I finally installed Itunes on my hubby's PC at work and managed to get it restored there.
Apparently, there must be some sort of compatibility issue with the windows version of Itunes and some other piece of software on my pc.
And one more important thing! I had to follow the instructions in the other thread that talks about how to correctly uninstall itunes and quicktime, in order to completely eliminate ALL traces of my "first" ipod's existence so it wouldn't demand that I restore it.
I think the software got "confused" and thought when I connected my 2nd ipod, that it was the 1st and that it still needed to be restored.
Basically, this is just POORLY written and POORLY tested software! -

A new version shouldn't do that but it does seem to happen on occasion to a few unlucky ones. Restore your library from the backup you make of your computer before you install new software. If you don't have one, this is a learning experience.
Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

everytime i link my iphone up to my laptop the message 'welcome to your new iphone' with the option restore from back up or new iphone. i once did restore from back up and it deleted all my recent pictures, music etc. how can i get pass this stage?

All sorted! dont suppose you know how to fix another problem I have??? for weeks now, since updating to ios5 I think, for some reason every time I have tried to log onto app store it says CANNOT CONNECT TO ITUNES STORE. It's nothing to do with my computer, and I've been to the Geniius bar but they couldnt help and nothing I seem to do lets me update my Apps and even worse, I cant even buy any more. Any suggestions?

From your backups. By doing a clean install you erased your startup volume. You may have installed OS X, but your personal software was erased. You can restore from backups if your have them. If not, then you've lost it all, permanently.

I deleted some apps on accident. I went to my recycling bin and saw them in there. I tried to restore them thinking that they would just reappear on itunes, but they didn't. Is there a way i can get them back or did i completely lose them?

I too have lost months of work, because when Notes started to mysteriously appear in Mail, I deleted them (That makes sense doesn't it? - Its not MAIL) Why would any one then setup the best OS in the world to delete the actual notes (from within Mail) in the application you created them in???? with no warning and no backup. Months of work, instantly destroyed. This is why i pay the Apple prices!!

All the links to download DREAMWEAVER CS3 Creative Suite are not working. How can I download the file ? I have a serial number of a purchased software.
They work just fine. whatever issues you have are specific, but without proper system info, browser info and other details nobody can even begin to guess.

Delete the problem song(s) from library including file(s). Then go to the iTunes Store and select "Purchased" from the Quick Links side bar on the right. Select Music tab to re-download again for free.

I have several .mp3 files of speech. When I add them to iTunes they show up in Music. How can I get them to show up as Audiobooks?
Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost.
