I just activated imatch on my windows pc unending vista. After the match and upload, only matched songs appear on my iPhone and iPad. Imatch and show all music are both on. Also, most of my playlists are empty. Help!

HELP! I subscribed to imatch on my mac so that I could access the songs anywhere with my iphone. However since I live in a rural community I would like to make playlists that always stay on my phone in case I don't have service. Not sure how.
I have the same issue. While I am sure your solution would work, my playlist has over 6,000 songs and hiting every song to download it is not very practical. Is there another way?
I am looking to have a subset of my music physically on my phone so that I can play it without internet access, but have access to the entire library when I do have internet access. -
Having just bought an iMac and set every thing up I have found that my IPad seems to run very slow. I have also just updated the IPad to OS 5.1 .Are these two things connected or is there a problem with the IPad
Using the Mac with your iPad has nothing to do with the fact that the iPad is running slow. There could be any number of reasons why the iPad is now running slow.
Have you tried a reset on the iPad?
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -
I have a iPhone 5 with the most up to date software and I have songs appearing on my phone that I've deleted prior too from iTunes on the computer. How do I remove them from my phone, I've tried the left to right swipe and that just plays the songs! :/ Can anyone help me, I'd be forever grateful if I didn't have to go back to the store! I went I today abc he unchecked the show all music and there's still songs I don't want on my iPhone! :(
The answer to the question in the title of the thread is yes, but it is not necessarily a good idea. At some point you are likely to find you need to restore your iPod for one reason or another, or it could be lost, stolen or damaged. If your songs aren't on your computer, and backed up too, then you will be less than happy.

Only about 2/3 of the column show. Also, paragraphs on sidebars, such as the Youtube subtitle sentences are cut so after the first line I only see the top of the second line.
If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause issues like you described.

Using iTunes Match, Show All Music not working for one playlist
I am using an iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8.2. I just recently subscribed to iTunes Match and all of my music has been matched/uploaded.
When I turn on iTunes Match and Show All Music on my iPhone, all of my playlists show up but one of them is incomplete, and doesn't have an option to download the missing songs from the cloud.
So, for example, I have a playlist that on my Mac has 696 songs and they are all matched by iTunes Match, and they all appear as either already on my phone or downloadable. Most of the other playlists are the same: working as expected. But I also have a playlist that on my Mac has 58 songs and they are all matched by iTunes Match, but only nine of them appear on my phone (they were already there), and none of the remaining 49 are showing as available to download from the cloud.
Is it possible to fix this? I've had bad luck in the past deleting playlists on the phone with the goal of having them refresh during the next sync. (The bad luck involved my playlists being deleted in iTunes on my Mac after the sync.)Hi Michael,

please help. I have tried deleting songs on my iPhone 5c and all but one song on each album have deleted. When I try to delete these songs they just start playing. Show all music is off.
This will delete all the music from the device:
Settings > General > Usage > Music > Edit > > Delete -
How do I get an album from Itunes that I have already downloaded to show the complete album again. After the last update it only shows one song. I tried to re purchase the whole album but it will not let me cause I already purchased it. Pease help
The large text size makes your post almost impossible to read.
Excessive use of bold or capitals (also) makes posts difficult to read.
You can drag most of the column headings left or right, or right-click on the header to turn columns on or off.
Once you've used File > Display Duplicates or Shift > File > Display Exact Duplicates you can use File > Display All or the Display All button at the bottom of the list to restore the display.

I cannt synk them to iTunes because lots of songs are not in iTunes now. This will delete my lots of songs.
I deleted some of songs by iPhone.but now it until shows all that songs.they seems partially visible not like other song totally black.actual songs are 701 shown in setting.in the music it shows 901. How can I permanently delete them???I called Apple and spoke with a customer service representative regarding this issue. I was given the two things to try, and if they don't work, I was told I can call back in:
1. Go to iCloud.com and look at the advanced options. Since Photos can be deleted here, the representative thought there may be an option to remove songs here as well.
2. Go into the library that has the songs that were deleted and click Update iTunes match.
I tried #1--this didn't resolve the issue, as there is no option to remove songs this way. I can't try #2 right now since I'm at work, but if anybody else with this issue can try that step it can help us get the ball rolling on it. After I try that, I'll call Apple back to discuss this further. -
I just upgraded my iphone 4S to IOS 8 and a ton of pictures appeared on my iphone from my computer. I want them saved in my computer iphoto but not on my phone. If I delete them from my phone will they delete in iphoto on my computer? They are taking up a lot of memory. Thanks
No they will not delete. If you are nervous about that, connect your phone to your computer and import the photos into iPhoto and drag them into a new folder on your desktop.

I just bought a used i pod touch from work but the screen says Ipod is disabled, how do I clear that to get back and eneter in the passcode?
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Just bought the new i phone 4s, set up my apple id, verified with email. I can sign into it on the computer no problem but cannot get to it through iphone. Unable to download apps or music. let me know if anybody has any solutions, thanks
If you have an old ID in Settings>iCloud as a result of updating to iOS 7, to change it you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change (you should need to verify the old account). Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I've tried Turning off "Show All Music" and then swiping left on the song to delete it, but it wont give me the option to delete the songs. Please help. Check you have an internet connection and that you are using the correct iTunes store location setting.
Try restarting the router.
If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore.
