I just blew up all the windows on my Mac!
I do not know what was clicked, it was control or apple or some combination, but all my windows in all my applications have Blown up in size. I can not find where or how to decrease all to get it back to normal. Changing the resolution under Display does not help.
This is great for people with bad vision, but it is killing me.
Any ideas please?

If you hold the Command key and scroll down with the scroll wheel on your mouse it will zoom in; easy to do inadvertently but easily reversible.

Before I updated to ios5 there was a number lit up on the task bar (next to bookmarks) which were all the windows I like to keep open. Now, after updating I can't find that feature in settings. I don't like all the different tabs along the top. Can anyone help me please?? I just want to click on the number and have all of my open windows there!
I don't think that is an option. iOS 5 new features is tabbed browsing, it replaced the old window interface.

I created a timer which detects inactivity in the first form launched by the forms runtime shortcut :

My problem is that when I click on a menu item in my menu, and I do nothing during 10 seconds then only the first form's window is titled 'Deconnected' but not the current form .
I have copied the trigger when-timer-expired of the first form to the form I called but there is nothing.
So how to make all the windows , whether it is the active window or it is hidden , to be titled 'Deconnected' when the timer expires ?

Why do all the windows open when i start my mac book pro up
After closing all the windows on my macbook pro , i shut the computer down, on re-starting the computer it opens all the wuindows up again
any ideas why ?Steve, are you closing the individual windows are quiting the programs? Do you have the box checked that says to open windows on restart? You should see that when you log out.

You are not specific with your problem or errors but one thing that always throws people off is as follows:
When entering you're login name you must use the entire login with carrier name such as [email protected] The field defults to just your name but not the carrier name. -

How do I Maximize all the opened windows in CS2People sometimes use the term "Maximize" incorrectly.
Maximize means to cover the screen. Do you really want each window to cover the screen? That will make only one of them visible at a time.
Or did you mean to say "Restore" all the windows? "Restore" means to change a window from minimized to visible again, as a window that does not cover the entire screen. If this is what you want, one quick way (with Windows 7) is to go to the Taskbar and click on the button/icon for each of the minimized windows you want to work on. Each has a Taskbar Live Preview Thumbnail so it's easy to pick which ones.
If you really do mean "Maximize", and your intent is to work on one window at a time, perhaps what you should consider doing is using the Tabbed view mode. That makes, by default, each window being worked on cover the Photoshop main window. It's a different way to manage multiple documents, and it sounds as if it might match your way of working better.

Safari forgets all the windows of the last session if I start it with a link
On Preferences/General I selected Safari starts with all the windows of the last session and all works this way except for a situation: when I click on a web link when Safari is closed, (i.e. on Mail) and that link starts Safari, it forgets all previous session windows and opens ONLY the link window...
Can I avoid this behaviour?You should be able to:
Backup the device to the new installation
Transfer your purchases into a newly authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post from forum regular Zevoneer
Restore the device from the backup
This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup!

I have just connected my Ipad to my mac and went to upload all the pics from my mac onto my ipad but doing so it has overwrote everything on my ipad and therefore the pics on my ipad have gone!!!
Help - I have tried the restore but it didn't put back my photos it just started to sync the ones that had overwrote my old ones!!!I took the orginal photos on my iphone over the past couple of years and bit by bit i uploaded them onto my sony lap top in albums... Nothing to do with itunes...
A few months ago as my laptop didn't seem as reliable so i uploaded all the pics onto my ipad from my laptop, it was today where i thought i will upload more from my phone onto the mac then onto my ipad but insted it overwrote all the pics on my ipad.
I had tried to do the back up and it didnt work the photos were lost.
Then my ipad later today was driving me insane and wouldnt delete any of the pics so i just restrored it back to factory settings.
My laptop has had issues so i have in restored all that to.
I will now in the future just upload from my phone straight to my mac and not mess about wanting pics on my ipad.
I appricate your help but i am pretty sure i have lost all of my photos... My kids 1st day at school the lot... -
Yesterday, since I downloaded the latest version 3.6.6, every time firefox opens and when I click on something, I get multiple error windows that say "ERROR: Security Manager Vetoed Action". I can't hardly use if anymore because of all the window pop-ups. What can I do? Can I go back to an older version?

If you're using Mac OS X, follow these steps:
Quit iTunes.
Go to your iTunes Media folder. By default, it's in ~/Music/iTunes. (This folder may be named iTunes Music if you created your iTunes library in iTunes 9 or earlier.)
Note: "~" represents your Home folder. Other users on your computer can't access these locations.
Drag the iTunes Media folder to a public location. For example, you could move it to the Public folder in your Home folder (~/Public) or to a location outside your Home folder that other users can access (/Users/Shared).
Important: Don't move the iTunes folder, the iTunes library file, or the iTunes library.xml file.
Open iTunes.
Choose iTunes > Preferences.
Click Advanced.
Click the Change button.
In the window that opens, go to your iTunes Media folder.
Click Choose or Open.
Repeat these steps for each user that you want to share music with. If multiple users on your computer are storing music in the same public folder, duplicate song files may appear if a user imports music from a CD that another user already imported.

Use it only when you need it. Keeping applications open which are not needed will just shorten battery life if you are under battery power and will unnecessarily slow down the MBP.
