I just bought a brand new Ipod touch but when I went to update it, a screen keeps popping up saying that the apple mobile device (recovery mode) was unable to install to my ipod and the ipod will keeps showing me the connect to itunes, what can I do?

It sounds like you are unable to re install iTunes because the Apple Mobile Device service failed to start. Try restarting it with the following article:

Windows Vista or Windows 7
Close iTunes and disconnect the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Click the Windows Start button .
In the Start Search field type Services.
In the Programs section of the search results, Click "Services".
Select Apple Mobile Device and click Stop the service as shown below:
After the service has stopped, click Start the service.
After the Apple Mobile Device service has started again, open iTunes and connect the device.
Then if the issue is resolved, set the service to start Automatically with the same article.
If it is still not working, use these steps from the same article to completely uninstall iTunes and its associated applications and install a fresh copy.
Remove and reinstall iTunes and AMDS
If the issue continues after restarting AMDS, then you'll need to remove and reinstall AMDS and iTunes.
Completely uninstall AMDS, iTunes, and all Apple software. Click the appropriate links below for steps:
Windows XP
Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
Restart the computer.
Download and install (or reinstall) the latest version of iTunes from www.apple.com/itunes. Installing iTunes will also install AMDS.
Restart the computer.
Start iTunes and connect the device. It should be recognized properly in Windows.

I have had my iPod Touch for about one year and have synced with my PC (XP) without incident during that time. Yesterday something happened while connecting with iTunes and I have not been able to find the solution on this board or others. Maybe the charge remaining in the iPod was insufficient. The iPod screen is frozen with the "Connect to iTunes" icon. I can turn it off (black screen) but as soon as it is attached to the PC or docked, the same icon reappears. I cannot make the red slider appear to shut it down.
On the PC side, as soon as I attach the iPod, it wants to install the driver for "Apple Mobile Device (Recovery Mode)". I have attempted to point it to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers find the driver, but what it wants is not there. I have completely uninstalled iTunes, Quicktime and related files; and reinstalled iTunes. I have tried every trick I can find in this forum and others to no avail. When the iPod is connected to the PC, the device manager shows Other Devices - Apple Mobile Device (Recovery Mode) with a yellow question mark and exclamation point. This device shows twice. The Apple Mobile Device USB Driver shows under Universal Serial Bus Controllers and is working properly.

I have tried everything I can think of and have been advised to do on the Apple Support pages but this makes no difference.
Please can someone offer a solution.

I have an Windows 7 desktop computer and when I try to connect my Ipod touch (4th generation ) to itunes it says apple mobile device is not started soo i go to services and start it up but a few seconds after i start it it stops i have tried everything.. reinstalling the new itunes deleting bonjour quick time everything that i found on goggle that might fix it soo and everything it said on the trouble shooting tips but it still wont work! Pls help me, My ipod touch is version 4.3.3 and itunes 10.4. I have tried to connect it with another pc or laptop and it works good and sync but I need it work on the main computer where all my files and stuff is at.When I turn on my ipod or I plug it in the apple logo appears for a few seconds and then the screen flashes white, soon after the "use itunes to restore" message appears but when I plug it in to my laptop the device isn't recognised on itunes

An update to my ipod touch failed to install. Somehow the driver failed to install and then somehow the drivers got "lost" I looked all over my system for a driver, windows searched the web for a driver to no avail. I looked on Itunes for updates and my itunes is updated. At a loss for what to do next to try and recover driver....help anyone? thanks

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY. -
I updated to iTunes 10.7 and now iTunes does not see my iPod touch. After the update I got a message that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver could not be installed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes 3 times, but still cannot fix the problem. I have followed the suggested fixes in Apple Support. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I just bought a brand new Photoshop CS5. When I start the installing from the cd I have to type in my serial number, which is <serial number removed> The installer says "This serial number is used for Photoshop CS5" all is good. After installing the program, I start it for the first time. Then I have to type in my serial number again for Photoshop CS5 Extended Trial, but now it says "This serial number is not valid for this product".
What is wrong? What am I doing wrong?I am guessing that you do not want to use the CS5 Extended version if you only purchased the non-extended version. Serial numbers are product specific. If you continue to have problems, contact Adobe support thru chat:
