I just bought a IMac and i am trying to install Logic Pro 9 but it keep failing, how do I get it to work?

In that case it sounds like your DVDs have a physical problem or your DVD drive has an issue reading the DVD,
I would suggest you try making DMG inages of your DVDs, save them to your Mac and try installing from the disk images instead...  (Disk Utility reads the DVDs in a slightly different way that can help get around certain physical issues)
