I just bought a ipod touch 5th generation space gray today and I feel that the audio isn't as good as I expected. When bought an Ipod touch 4th generation, the audio was so good but now its not. I bought a 5th generation expecting that it would be just as good as the first time I played audio on my ipod touch 4th generation.
What should I do?

It didn't got wet, neither is phisicaly damaged... the problem is i'm not from the US (where I bought it) so I can't use the warranty.

Is it? okay well today I went to my capital city where there is an Apple Store, and they said the warranty is not international! I'm from Ecuador btw.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

The manual does not show that feature natively for the iPod. Later iPhones and iPads have that feature natively.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Some of the Dock connector cables have very small buttons on the rounded adge of the plug, which need to be pushed in to release the plug from the iPod. Look at the picture below, do you notice the "button" on the white connector edge? There's one on the other edge too and they both need to be pressed in to release the "evil looking spike" sticking out of the grey edge.
The shorter plugs (that I've seen) do not have the release mechanism, the plug simply pulls out.

Anyways, i tried to backup my iphone to itunes and then restore my new ipod from the backup of the iphone 4, but it only backed up phoyos, contacts, and two other things (games was not one of them). Then when I restored my ipod, that is all that downloaded onto the ipod as well. I would really appreciate if someone would be able to provide me with detailed instructions as to how to be able to download everything from my iphone 4 to my ipod touch 5th generation. Well first you need to sync your iPhone 4 with your Mac/PC so that it will transfer all your music, apps, podcasts, etc. Then sync your iPod Touch and the media you selected during the sync should be there on your iPhone. If you have difficulty in transferring media from iPhone to your computer, try softwares like TransCopy. They will help in transferring data from your iphone to your computer. Dont forget to check that all the transferred data is in the iTunes media folder so that the iTunes can locate the files. Link to Transcopy software :

I just bought an IPOD Touch 5th and just realized that there is no place to insert it into a Bose Docking Station to play the music from the IPOD thru the Bose, any suggestions. The 4th Generation had a larger hole to connect to the docking station.

Just went to the apple store and bought my 64gig ipod touch 5g. They had many in stock. I feel sorry for all you who are waiting for your preorders, they really ****** that up. If you preordered your touch after the 17th of september, you mise well just cancle the order and go pick one up because your probably gonna have to wait another week or 2 lol

Wipe it clean and restore it. You should then be able to rename the iPod and set up an account with iTunes. I hope this helps!
