I just bought a new iPod touch 5g and the buttons are all loose and it charges to 100% in like 45 mins.
All the buttons work and stuff; however the volume and sleep/wake buttons don't click or feel tight enough to be new. The home button works fine though, but is loose. I have compared it to my friends and all theirs are tight and work fine. I bought my ipod at best buy. Im not sure they will replace it seeing as how I didn't buy insurance for it. Would the apple store replace it? ALL the buttons work, BUT are not tight. Also the battery charges way too fast (45 min). What should I do. Will it be okay? Help please.
Based on posts here, the loose buttons seem to be normal. Also, other users have report similar "fast" charging. That usually resolve after a number of charge/discharge cycles.
If y are concerned, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Are you sure of that? Check in the Library. Click on the Apps icon to see all apps. Similarly click on the Music icon to see the songs. -

Is the iPod that connects an iPod touch? If not that does not mean anything since iOS devices like iPod touch, iPhone and iPad use different drivers than other iPods. -
Just bought a new iPod Touch 16G - (I think it's a 5th gen.). I used my old iPod to record music rehearsals. This new iPod is stating that my old Belken mic (with new adaptor) is not compatible. Does this new iPod Touch have ability to record audio? If so, what do I need for a mic??

Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Did you initiallysetup the iPod via wifi?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

Do you have any Restrictions (Settings>General>Restrictions) set that would prevent syncing those songs? (iTunes purchases only)

When I select my iPod touch in iTunes the buttons are inactive when I try to sort by name, artist etc. Also about half of the links under 'file' etc are not active.
Further to my question, when I plug in and select my iPad 2 I don't have the same problem. I have restored the settings on my iPod Touch and updated both iTunes and iPod Touch software and restarted my iPod touch. Nothing has made any difference.

I just bought a new Ipod ios from a friend and she didn't reset it before she gave it to me and when I try to connect it to my laptop it keeps saying "Ipod is disable, connect to itunes"and it says to put in the correct passcode but I don't know what the passcode is and now I can't get ahold of my friend that sold it to me. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Well no one out there. I hate to have to take this 13" Mac Book Pro back , get my money back . Seems I'll have to. This is about the third time I have asked for help from Mac (APPLE) and I never hear back from them..
Does that problem happen with some applications? If so, the problem is that you are using applications that are not designed for Retina display. The developer should have done that months ago.
If that's your problem, first check that your applications are updated. If you want to make them look better, you can decrease resolution in System Preferences > Displays, but do not worry, because this does not mean that your MacBook Pro is damaged.
However, if you cannot use your Mac because the GPU is not working correctly, you have to return it and get another one -
