I just bought an iphone 4s Factory unlocked, i was wondering if the 4g network will work? cause i got unlimited plans with t-mobile. and will Siri work?
I have an unlimited plan for T-mobile and i order the iphone 4s factory unlock like a week ago. But i'm not sure if the 4s will work with the t-mobile 4g network and Siri. Can someone please help me by telling me what's will work with t-mobile and what will not work with the iphone 4s factory unlock. Thanks
well i'm not really asking which is better for travel, i'm just asking over all which phone is better for the plan i have with T-Mobile, but i'm assuming is the Galaxy s2, but the only reason y im not getting that phone is cause that phone is way too big. sigh and i really like the i4s, been using iphone before as well, so i'm kinda use to it. But i see no point of getting the I4s if i the function that came with it to make it fun doesn't work. You get what i mean?? that's y i'm asking cause i don't know anything.

Went thru the whole process itunes confirmed it was unlocked
When I went to put my APN Information that option is not available
If I go thru a 3rd party APN installer I get the internet but no MMS.
I did the Iphone configurator with no success
I'm running on a AT&T network, but with NET10 Provider

You can use the "Sim Swap" method to set MMS Settings but apart from that there is no way (Unless you want to jailbreak the iPhone which most people don't want to do)

Do you have receipt that you bought your previous phone in Canada? If so, go back to apple store in Michigan, and perhaps they will replace it. Otherwise, you pro ably should have returned it to the store in Canada. You best bet is to call apple and see if they can come up with a solution.

My iphone has always connected automatically and without problem to the wifi at work i.e. BTBusinesshub and at home BTHomehub but yesterday it would not connect at work. It is ok at home but again today at work it is not connecting. It appears to try but is not connecting, please help.
You can try doing a reset, hold down the home/power button until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up - then check wifi - if that doesn't work then
do a network reset note: you will have to reenter wifi password again when your in range.
settings - general - reset - reset network settings. If that doesn't work then I would talk to your IT dept. -

You in fact purchased a locked iPhone. Your receipt is the key that confirms this:
"No contract Sim". Apple Canada sells both: contact free(what you purchased) and unlocked. Your phone requires a Canadian sim to activate, and once activated will be locked to that carrier. It is merely "contract free". You have thirty days to return your phone and get your money back. I'd suggest you start figuring out how to do so.
The price you paid has nothing to do with whether the phone is locked/unlocked. Further, there is no one from Apple here and even if there were, no one from Apple can help you. Your phone is locked, was purchased as locked and needs to be returned as it won't work where you live. -
