I just bought an Iphone and I am trying to unlock it but it says I must first insert a valid sim card, how do I get past this screen?
I am trying to unlock an Iphone that I just bought online. I have TMobile. The phone however says that I have to insert a valid sim card (which I don't have yet) in order to unlock the phone. I can't even get into the settings or the home screen of the phone. How can I get past this locked screen? Thanks.

Do what it says and install a SIM card.
Did you buy an unlocked phone? If not, then only the carrier to which it is locked to can unlock the phone.

It will ask you if you want to setup as a new device, from an iCloud backup or from an iTunes backup. Choose iCloud backup and then it will ask you to sign in to your iCloud account. It will restore and reboot. The you will be good.

Sounds like your iPhone was previously hacked/modified/jailbroken
and the update has relocked it to the original wireless carrier. If that
is the case, only the wireless carrier to which the iPhone is now locked
can unlock it.
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>Carrier?

Pleaseeeee urgent i need help. my iphone 5c is getting stuck at the end while restoring and after 2 hours it is exiting with error code (3). Itunes downloaded the 7.0.2 ipsw and it is failing to restore the phone. i tried this on many computers and on each computer I did the uninstall and the reinstall trick for itunes. Nothing worked and im left with a ******** stuff with no software installed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MacBook Pro battery ran low and computer shut down , after charging battery I tried to start up and I got an Apple on a gray screen with spinning wheel that went to a panic call out screen and that's as far as it will go. I've tried start up with command keys ,a few got me to a different screen but nothing has let me into any place I can use to try and repair problem. Try a Reset... press the home and sleep/lock buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

I just bought my IPhone and am also getting the the Service Apple Mobile Device failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services. This is after following the uninstall/reinstall instruction. I am due to travel in 2 days and am very upset about this. This needs to be fixed!!!

I just got an Iphone and I am trying to get my Itunes music as my ringtone. I already got an app and made a ringtone. I even got the tones tab to appear in my Itunes library. I cannot however get a tones tab to appear on my Iphone sync area. Also I cannot get any of my ringtones into the tones folder. They are no longer than 30 seconds so that is not the problem. Any ideas?
Does this app not provide a video on how to sync it with itunes and then sync it to your phone.
If you have transfer the ringtone to your computer, play the ringtone - then it should move to your tones folder in itunes. Just make sure when you play the ringtone it's plays in itunes.
