In case the battery died, you should be aware if it was fully depleted it could take up to ten minutes for it to be charged enough to turn on.

I took it back to the Apple store 2 days ago and they gave me a new one, but they told me not to restore it from backup cos if something (an app) is corrupted it will happen again. The only thing they could keep was my contacts cos they did something there that allowed them to transfer them to the new phone. I went home, and downloaded only ONE app (facebook), and guess what - THE PROBLEM IS STILL OCCURING ON THE BRAND NEW PHONE! It is driving me insane as I cant get through the day without my phone.

Tomorrow is the end of my 14 day period since I stupidly bought my 4s. I'm not so interested in exchanging for an iPhone5, as I am in paying the lower price for my 4s. I had read that as part of the rollout of the 5, that Verizon was going to sell the iPhone 4s 16g for $99 rather than the $199 I paid. I called Verizon today and they said I also had 14 days to match a lower price, but that the 4s was still listed at $199. Does anyone know if what I read about the price change was accurate, and when it takes effect?

You you bought it from Apple, you have 14 days to do so.
If it's from a reseller, you got to talk to them.
It's good to restall to Factory Settings to remove all your personal data.
Settings >General>Reset>Erase all contents and settings -

should I droop it?I know this sounds really basic, but did you remove the protective plastic film? I was going to leave mine on for protecting the screen and had the same issue. I removed it as it was the source of the problem.

the phone gets switched off on its own atleast 2 times in a day and when we press the home button it gets started.
when it is in the switched off mode, a person calling on it gets my dialer tone. He feels that i have not answered his call and has gone as a
missed call on my phone. But in actual, i have never received the call nor its presence is there as a missed call on the "switched off" iphone 4s.
Hence the caller feels that i am not answering his call nor even calling after i see his missed call
this is a very grave problem i am facing
please help me out.

I just bought an I phone 6 eleven days ago. It fell off my bed this morning and the screen shattered. I've been told by numerous outlets including apple, that it cannot be replaced for less than $300. I spent $650 dollars on this phone less than two weeks ago. This is absolutely ridiculous!!!!!! I've always been a huge supporter of apple. I own apple TV, 2 MacBook Pros, 2 IPods and four previous IPhones. It seems to me that quality has been going south and the new IPhone 6 is a testament to that. I'm sincerely disappointed in this purchase and apple.

There is no real issue. Devices can break. All devices can break. Apple offers AppleCare+ and also offers to replace a damaged device for less than the cost of purchasing one new. Name me a manufacturer that does free replacements for electronic devices that are damaged by the user. -

Well, i bought two iphone 5 for me and my wife...she used it for only 2 days and she gave it back to me complaining from the same problem and she went back to her 4S, i thought she was kidding until i used mine,,,oh my god, the battery does not last for more than 6 or 7 hours, even without making any calls. i was so happy with my previous 4S as i used to charge it at night and stay almost 2 days on a stand by before recharge it again. well, im done with apple, have an appointment today in apple store to return mine, and even if they give me 2 new ones, i will not even open them,,,, for sale right away.

I am having a problem with the jack in for the headphones. I have bought it brand new from a local authorised apple store about 10 days ago. As soon as I plugged in my headphones and tried them, the sound was coming out of one side of the headphone and the plug inside my macbook pro was loose. When i tried moving it the sound was coming out of the device. What can I do?

Hi everyone, I need some help big time. I was currently running the IOS 6.0.1 on my iphone 4 and I could sync and transfer music to my phone via my iTunes account. But I updated my phone to the new IOS 6.1 and now I can not transfer music onto my iphone, all it does is tries to sync the songs but it doesn't. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes back onto my laptop yet it still does not work. Can anyone please help me.

The release of iTunes 11.0.2 and iOS 6.1.2 for my iPhone 4, seems to have sorted everything. I can now sync music, films and photos between my MacBook and my phone.
I was dubious about blindly doing the updates but decided they couldn't really mess up any further functionality so I went for it and it's sorted now.

Thanks!I pressed the sleep button and on/off button for 10 seconds and it turned on. I had enough power 96% when it just turned off.

According to Apple's website you should be getting up to almost 15 hours of playback time from a full charge. It shouldn't matter whether or not you have the iPod on or off during the charging process.
