I just bought my iPhone a few hours ago and I'm noticing that it does not vibrate what so ever. What do I do? It's an iPhone 4.
My iPhone isn't vibrating!
Settings --> Sounds --> Vibrate Make sure it is set to ON.
There are two settings for this.
One is to vibrate wen you have the phone set to Silent.
The other will add vibrations to your ringers, message tones, alerts, etc.

Open your hard drive and then go to the /Applications folder (this is also available in the Finder sidebar by default), and then scroll down to locate the program.
The program is simply called "Messages" and not "iMessages" (no "i"), so if you sort the folder's contents alphabetically it will be next to Mail and other "M" applications. -

I rented a movie a few hours ago and never finished it. I can't view it on my Apple TV nor on my Computer. When I go to rent it again it says you have already rented this movie, but I can't find it anywhere. How do I watch the remainder of the rental?
I had the same issue with my apple tv 3rd generation. I rented Sinister and selected the "rent and watch now" option. Half way through the movie I accidentally pressed the menu button. When I looked for the rented movie on my apple tv I could not find it. Not even above the movie pannel where "purchased" and "top movies" comes up on the main menu. the apple tv suggests to go to settings>downloads but I don't have that option. I did go to settings> itunes store> check rentals but that didnt work either. It took too long to even check. Thank you because this SOLUTION worked great.
SOLUTION: How to reset apple tv 3 3rd generation to view rented movies:on the apple tv remote: press and hold "menu" to go to the main menu. Select SETTINGS> GENERAL >RESET >RESET ALL SETTINGS. After the apple tv resets, input all your information again and your rented movies should be visible when you cruise above the "movies" section. THANK YOU!!
Apple needs to solve this issue because honestly it took me 3 hours and a half to watch a movie that only lasted 2 BECAUSE I wast trying to solve the issue, reseting and all. blahh. -

I just got my MacBook a few days ago and I was tired of the galaxy picture so I changed it to a color since I didn't have photos at that time well now I have photos and whenever I change my background it changes back to the color after I start it up again.
You are still under warranty. Call Apple tech support and let them deal w/it.
You have 14 days to return the computer w/no questions asked. Plus you have 90 days of FREE phone tech support on top of your standard 1 year warranty unless you also purchased AppleCare which gives you an additional 2 years of coverage plus FREE phone support.
Strongly suggest that you take FULL advantage of the above before it runs out. Let Apple deal w/the problems. -
I just bought my macbook pro 2 weeks ago and have noticed that when I go to start it up, it takes longer to power up than when I first bought it. Does anyone know why this may be and of a fix for it?
Hi. It could be that the more you pile on the HD, the longer it will take to boot. When I first bought my MBP, it took maybe 30 seconds. But as I began putting more content on the HD, it seemed to take a bit longer to boot. You may also want to consider putting your MBP in sleep mode. That's what I do with mine and it doesn't hurt at all as far as I can tell.

Just make sure you Sync ALL your important Info... Contacts... Music... Etc... to your Computer...
and then do a Restore as New...

So I have been using my iPad for a few months now and I recently noticed that the time display next to the playlist name in the music app that is supposed to display the total song count and time of a playlist is way off. I have a 25 song playlist that is around 2 hours on my computer appears as 2003 minutes on my iPad. It's a smart playlist limited to 25 songs if that makes any difference. Is this happening to anyone else? Any help would be appreciated!

First make an iCal backup, File > Export > Archive.
Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache)
Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.ical (There may be more than one of these. Remove them all.)
__NOTE: Removing these files will remove any shared (CalDAV) calendars you may have access to. You will have to re-add those calendars to iCal > Preferences > Accounts.
Once the computer is back up and running open iCal and test.

I just switched from a PC to a Mac, and I am very confused.Make sure that your boot drive is selected as the Startup Drive in System Preferences. What you describe is very unusual behavior. If your Startup drive is selected in Preferences, try booting to your Recovery partition (holding down Command and R on startup) and using Disk Utility to verify and, if needed, repair your hard drive.
If this doesn't help, you may have to take your MBP to your local Apple Store or an AASP.

I bought an Ipad 3 a couple of months ago and it suddenly started to glitch one day. Every time I'd put the pass code in an it would unlocked the screen would go black. I tried to restart it and tried recovery mode and it didn't work. Sometimes when I turn it back on the screen goes blue. It seems that every time I move the Ipad with the screen lit up it turns black with a slight move. What could I do? Should I ship it to apple? How much would it cost to get it fixed? Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. I bought a mac minni about 2 weeks ago. Had problems with the minni freezing randomly. Had Apple troubleshoot the problem and was determined that the problem was a hardware problem. Apple gave me a new minni. Now I am experienceing the same problem with this minni. I am not using an Apple mouse/keyboard and was wondering if that could be the problem. Also I do have two external hard drives that I used. There are no other programs that I have loaded on the minni. What are the odds that this is another hardware problem? Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Could it be the keyboard/mouse? I would not think the external hard drives should cause any problem.
DIf I were you I'd take it back. On at least one occassion I had an Apple employee tell me there had been a "bad batch" - it was a battery, not a computer - and a history of previous identical failures. It happens.
Suggest you take the keyboard and the mouse with you when you return the Mini - no doubt the Apple employee will test them too. -
Count and size of photos in iTunes does not match what is on my iPhone
I have 2 different iPhone 6 phones. For each of them, the number of photos on the phone does not match the number of photos shown in iTunes. For example, one of my iPhones has fewer than 400 photos; however, when I connect the phone to iTunes on my computer, the usage bar at the bottom shows that there are more than 2500 photos accounting for 2.5GB. I suspect that iTunes is including photos that I have deleted from my phone. Are the additional 2100 "phantom photos" actually taking up space on my phone, and what can I do to make iTunes match what is actually on my phone?
