I just bought this new icloud back-up.... as soon as i downloaded it to my iphone 4s most of my music won't play on my phone. They skip over and over till it finnally catches a song and plays it. then it will stop and i have to hit play once again.

I just bought this icloud backup program from itunes for close to $30.00 and when i downloaded all my music to it from past to present it seemed to be fine.... when i disconnected and left my home and pluged in my headphones, my phone would skip through multiple songs untill it would catch one and start playing it. then I'd have to start my music again after that song and it would repeat this process of searching through my songs till it catches a song to play. any Idea's???

i guess you are referring to iTunes Match. It sounds as though you haven't downloaded all the content and are trying to play your music over a poor connection.

Most of my music won't play, and the songs have exclamation points.

I upgraded my itunes, and now most of the music won't play, and they have exclamation points next to them. When I click on a song, it says "original file cannot be found" I clicked on locate, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Any suggestions?

Hello, I too had this same problem. I was very lazy about going through EACH song trying to select & fish for it in a folder (I have a lot of folders total of 1,979 songs). I called Apple & they told me to go to my iTunes go to FILE scroll down then ADD FOLDER.. Since everything was just out of place & didn't know where to even begin I basically deleted ALL songs from my LIBRARY & then added each folder. It literally took me less than 20 minutes. Dont worry if you have your songs labeled a certain way (Artist, name of song, genre in iTunes) everything will go back to normal. Hope this helps as it helped me! I put it aside for 2-3 years! Yes. The music on the old iPod will need to be stored in your iTunes library on your computer though for you to sync it over to the new iPod. See this article for different ways to handle multiple iPods with one computer.

Firefox is now hard to load, and no matter what I click on for a web page, or even my mail I get the connection was reset and I have to hit the try again button 5 - 6 times usually to get the page to load.

I updated internet explorer also changing my server provider so that my web page contact emails would go thru. I have quest broadband and could not use my yahoo accounts as they are not compatible, had me open a q.com email will transfer to outlook for my web pages. That all works, but now firefox is acting up.

Many business users chose to use the downgrade option to XP until Windows 7 had been out awhile longer ,which may be what happened on your machine. Where I work, most all of the machines still run XP.
Recovery Disks contain the OS and all drivers/software for a specific model. A plain Windows disk contains just the OS.Not sure which you have, but a true Recovery Disk set will not work on any machine.
It really sounds like you have a Windows Repair disk which requires a backup image to repair an installation.Could you confirm what exact disk you have?

Photos on the camera roll can be included in an icloud backup from an iOS device (if camera roll is turned on). But getting the photos back from a backup is risky. Many users have performed restore operations from a backup only to discover the photos were not returned. icloud is primarily used to sync photos to other devices using photo stream - but only new photos taken after the stream is turned on in Settings>icloud will actually be synced, not old photos.
Settings>icloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage, tap the device's name and on the next screen, be sure Camera Roll is turned on.
IMPORTANT...
Photos should be regularly synced to a computer (like you store photos from a digital camera) using either USB via iTunes (on a mac use iPhoto or Aperture to move them to an album). You can then sync the photos to the iPad.

Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

You don't state the amount of data you want to transfer but a quick easy method is to just use a jump drive and copy it onto the jump drive and then copy it into your Mac.
I too was a MS Office user but took the plunge and started using Apple's Pages and Numbers. It took a few weeks to get used to the transition but I have been very pleased. Pages and Numbers can save in a Word and Excel format with ease and I have never had a problem. Of course as Allan points out you can buy Office for the Mac but it will cost you. If you're PC Office version is less than six months old I believe you can do a iMac version upgrade for a reduced price.
Good luck and you will ultimately realize that you made the right decision to buy a Mac.

i just bought a new album in iTunes for Windows. I downloaded it and tried to play it but iTunes just skips the titles.
I synchronized the album to my iphone and ipad. Still won't play it. Even if i open the music files in the explorer and try to play it with WMPlayer it doesn't work.
Any ideas?

So just to be clear, when you say "just bought" how long ago was that? Is it on this new iPhone that you had pictures, texts, etc that you want? Were you backing up to iCloud or onto iTunes?
This may not help for everything but if you go to iCloud.com and log in, are you able to find your pictures there?
