I just did the new download for my ipad. How do I remove it?
I just did the new download for ipad. O7 something. Is there any way to change back? My ipad is full of bugs and its slow. I just want it back the way it was. I am not very computer savy so any information would be really appreciated. Thank you
Unfortunately, there's no way to revert back to a previous version at the moment. You're stuck once you upgrade.

I downloaded the last update on my iPad and now I can not download from the apple store or iTunes. I just sits there and continues to act like it will but nothing happens. And then it times out and goes back to home screen. Have a 32 so have have plenty of room.
What would you advice I do? I purchased this iPad in dec 2013.Double tap your home button to bring up the most recently used apps.
You'll see the app icon below and a screen shot of the app page above.
With your finger swipe the app page above the app icon upwards to fully close the apps (you should do this regularly).
Now, reboot your iPad. Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart. You won't lose any data or settings.
When your iPad comes back up, see if you can download again. -

My dad just got the new MacBook for Christmas. His friends all use PC's....
My dad just got the new MacBook for Christmas. His friends all use PC's and they keep sending him these joke email attatchment files that he can't open on his Mac. One was a .wma audio file, presumably some were video files. Is it possible for him to read these files on his Mac with some aditional software or not? I haven't used Mac's predomanatly before so I'm unsure. What software should he download?
Playing video files from your computer is completely independent of the optical drive. You could play say a Windows Media file even if you didn't have a drive as long as that file is on your computer.
That said some report problems using VLC to play DVD's (hence using your optical drive).
But to the original poster..... Flip4Mac and/or VLC that was suggested should do the trick. About the only thing that would stop those would be a WM10 file that have DRM attached and there's nothing you can use at this point. It's highly unlikely that a bunch of jokes being sent around (great way to get a virus by the way, I know you probably won't and that's why you have a Mac but you get the idea) is using WM10 though. -
Help! I just did the new OS update and all my photos & albums from iphoto are GONE!
I just did the new OS updated last night. When I opened Photos this morning, there was nothing. NOTHING! Not, photos in weird order or unlabeled. There were no photos period. Where did they go? What can I do? This is my work! I cannot have a decades worth of photos completely lost. Can I do something with timemachine to get them back. HELP!!!
This looks like Photos opened a new, empty library, because it could not access your iPhoto Library or Aperture Library.
Where are you storing your iPhoto Library? In the default location in the Pictures folder or on an external drive?
For Photos to be able to open your iPhoto Library, the library needs to be on a drive formatted MacOS Extended, and directly connected. It will not be able to open the library on a NAS or any network volume. -
Hi - just using the new iMovie for the first time - apparently there should be a sidebar containing tools like "Content Library". Not on mine - even in Window view, Content Library features like text etc are all greyed out - obviously it's me - anyone help please?

I just installed the new firefox for Mac OSX 10.6.8 and when I select an image on a site (right click and copy) and paste in Photoshop 5.5, the image lightens. It does not do this in Safari.Firefox, Safari, and PhotoShop each handle embedded color profiles differently. If you refer to an App. and it doesn't appears on Springboard, you can reboot your iPod. If it not solve the problem, Reboot your iPod from Hardware (Press and keep presing Sleep/Wake button and Home button for about ten seconds until Apple logo appears). It might solve the problem. If not, Sync your iPod on iTunes, it may appears.
You can redownload your App on "purchased" section from iTunes App, it should say "Installed"

I just did the IOS8 update on my Ipad retina which had 300 photos it asked me to do an iCloud back up which i did but it deleted all my previous photos and now i only have recent photos how do i get back all my old photos? It said befor that my icloud was out of storage but i didnt know it didnt have my old photos, they arnt back up on itunes either is there any way I can get them back?

Please see the bold. If you're out of icloud storage, then you won't be able to backup to icloud unless you purchase more storage, but yet you said you backup to icloud.
If you really did backup to icloud no data would be loss - sounds to me that it didn't backup since you had no more free icloud storage space.

I have just updated the i06 software for my iPad and it will not connect to my home wifi network - all my other devices are able to connect to my wifi network.
I have attempted all troubleshooting actions suggested and nothing has worked. I have restored my iPad network and factory settings - Please help - this is frustrating meyou have to set up your router to solve th problem. first find and write down the ipad mac address.
then log on to your router using your laptop or any device that can connect to router at 192.168.0.1 in your web browser. please check out my posting about how to resolve the wifi connection problem.
i think the ios6 update has reset the networking but if you set up the router then you should not have the same problem any more. -

You are welcome! I played with the 928 in a Verizon store and really liked it. Besides the great camera and Nokia Maps, I'd be pretty excited about Nokia Music, too. As I understand it, this free app lets you create playlists from its entire music library, which can be stored on your device to listen to any time.
