weird, i would try to restore through iTunes and set up as new as a test.

I want to know how to set firefox to remember my yahoo mail id and password. i've changed my password, but firefox only remember the old password. So, i've erased it in the security settings.
If the name stays the same and you only need to change (update) the stored password then fill the name in the login form and let Firefox fill the wrong password.
You may have to press the Tab key to fill the password field.
If you replace the wrong password with the new password then Firefox should offer to store the new password.
Yahoo uses "autocomplete=off" to prevent Firefox from saving passwords, so you need to use the ''Remember Password'' bookmarklet.
You can verify that Firefox has stored the new password: Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
If that didn't work then remove that name and password and Firefox should offer to save the new password on the next visit or if you refresh the login page.

Different maps for every month in FDQM for a single location/Entity
Hi,
Is it possible to have different account maps for each and every month in FDQM for a single entity/location.
The requirement is,client needs to change accounts map each and every month,for eg; if in Jan ,account 1 is mapped to X, in feb same account 1 is mapped to y.
Could any one tell me if this is possible in FDQM,if yes..how can we maintain different account maps for each period for one specific entity.
RegardsThis is possible with the appropriate business process. FDM will apply the current map that exists to the current dataset. It will not retroactively change prior periods unless you specifically reprocess the maps (wither by reimporting data or by selecting Process Logic/Maps) for historical data.
So as a map is updated monthly, the historical data is maintained and the current data uses the "new" map. If for some reason the prior period does need to be reprocessed with the "old" map, you can use the restore function to bring the map back to what it was during that period. -
On Yahoo Mail...and ONLY Yahoo Mail..I get a 404 error after entering my user name and password. This doesn't happen with IE, just Firefox, and just Yahoo Mail. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling FF; no change. Yahoo was absolutely no help whatsoever; can you solve the mystery? Thanks

thanks so much for your posts back. I really appreciate it and yes that does help to know that you could not get it working.
I did have some success, in removing the SSL Authentication checkbox in the smtp server settings - I found that this allowed my friend to be able to send mail from the mail app via his sbcglobal (yahoo) account.
So that did help but of course the messages do not have ssl encryption and I'm not sure how big a deal that is for an individual. He is able to receive mail but unless the SSL authentication box is unchecked, he cannot send.

My iPhone (and iPad) will receive .msn e-mails but will not allow me to respond or forward, giving an error message that says the username or password are incorrect for the SMTP, but the same configuration allows me to receive AND send from my MacBook - what can I do to correct this?

I bought the new iPhone 5 awhile back and just placed my iPhone 4 in a drawer. In trying to set it up to give to my Mom, the restored iPhone 4 wanted a password. I used all the passwords I usually use and nada. I can't connect to iTunes because my new phone is setup and I still need to unlock the phone to do anything.
How do I get the phone out of disabled mode? I took out the sim card and have the Find my iPhone app set to my new phone.I didn't have it synced to any computer since I got a new phone. I ended up restoring it by turning it off, holding the home button until the apple came back up, while still holding - connected to iTunes - and restored. It wiped everything which I didn't mind. Now, no lock password. Yippeeee!!

Just restore the phone as a new device in iTunes, this will remove the restrictions passcode & erase all data on the phone.
iTunes running, connect the phone, on the Summary Pane, hit the restore button. There is no way to retrieve a forgotten restrictions passcode. -
How do I cancel Revel? I never signed up for it! The online directions tell you to go to the shortcut on your desktop, but there isn't one on my PC and I couldn't find it under "My Programs".

Sometimes people sign up for a Revel account either through viewing a friend's account, or through Photoshop Elements, etc, not fully understanding what is occurring. We can delete your account from Revel if you so desire. That would stop the update messages. If you didn't really want a Revel account this would be a good solution.

so i got a new ipod touch 4th generation and about three days after the internal speaker stopped working. i was dumb and didn't return it because it worked again for about a month and then stopped. and i was pass the 90 day return time. so i am screwed and now the speaker will work for about 10 minutes every two months so it isnt that handy to me. i know it isn't blown because it will randomly work and when it does i hope it doesn't turn off. i have seen allot of things about this and i think that it is a apple ipod think because allot of other people have this problem. so i think it is great that apple has made these products it is just sad that u pay 200$ for something that breaks after two months. i think they should do a free replacement for any product that has a malfunction because it isn't my fault it is broken and then they expect u to pay another 75$ so they can take it just to give u a refurbished one that will do the same thing.
Walk it into the nearest Apple Store, politely describe your issue and see what they say there.

Do any fellow iTunes U administrators know anything about this? How is existing content presented in the new app? Would we need to change anything? How do we access / make available the new features?
The new features sound fantastic but it would have been nice to have some warning. I appreciate that Apple has to keep specific details about developments confidential but it's slightly disconcerting that iTunes U administrators were not forewarned about this new development and that there has been no mention of it on this forum. Also - and at the risk of sounding like a broken record - it really would be helpful for iTunes U administrators to have a private forum (perhaps an add-on to Public Site Manager) where we could discuss issues and share ideas and best practice etc.Greetings Tom;

i can view the login page. I enter my login and pword. Then it just goes to a blank page. The tab at the top of the page and the address bar shows a continuous changing address and nothing happens
This is how I fixed it on my new iPhone 5S. Using the standard yahoo setting on my phone.
You will have to access "managing your app passwords" on your account profile for yahoo. Generate password for your app. For example: "My iPhone 5S'
Go to your Iphone and set up your yahoo mail account on your phone the normal way and you have to use the generated password. instead of the yahoo account password.

No Applecare for the iPhone in the Netherlands (Holland)
I was wondering if anyone could tell me exactly why Apple does not provide Applecare for the iPhone in the Netherlands (Holland). I have had very great (actually amazing) help with Apple via Applecare for all their products I have purchased (past and present), yet when dealing with a recent iPhone problem, I have had terrible support from (the affiliates) of T-Mobile (the official mobile provider for the iPhone in the Netherlands). Hence, if I could, I would purchase Applecare for my iPhone in a split-second. But, as said, it isn't available here in Holland for some reason.
Does anyone know exactly why?
(P.S. Applecare employees in Holland are more than welcome to help answer this question!Apple do not answer such questions here - and their staff wouldn't even do so at a personal level.
