My advice to you is, if you can, drop back to Mavericks. You will have better luck since CS4 is not supported (nor are CS5 or CS5.5) on Yosemite. The other alternative is to uninstall the entire suite, run the cleaner tool and reinstall completely from the original discs or a new download. Be prepared for other fun stuff as well.

I have just got iTunes match. It appears that since joining and starting it some tunes have been deleted from my library. They are shown in the listing but iTunes can no longer locate the files. Any suggestions?
If they are showing in the Videos app with a cloud then go into Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone and set Videos (under the 'Show All') heading 'off' - you might (depending upon which country that you arein) have a similar button for music and the Music app.

since I upgraded to os 5.1 for my iPhone I can no longer type in reminders. Any suggestions how to get around having to use siri for reminders?
Unfortunately, I have a very similar problem. Since I upgraded to os 5.1 on my new iPhone 4S the reminders screen will not add new reminders or scroll up and down. What's more strange is the screen will still scroll side to side allowing access to the Completed list, and both the Completed list and Date functions work normally so this must be an upgrades glitch.

Restoring a backup is specific to the backup program you are using to do your daily backups - consult it's manual, help file or author's support site
Back up your iPhoto library, Depress the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - rebuild your iPhoto library starting with the first option and trying others until you are succesful

Just downloaded the trial for the Creative Cloud and the desktop icon won't open
I wanted to try out photoshop before I bought it, so downloaded the trial of the creative cloud and whilst was downloading photoshop, it crashed my laptop, forcing me to restart it and now when I try to open the creative cloud icon on my desktop it doesn't open at all. Can anyone suggest anything please?
uninstall it using the uninstaller, clean per Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
and then try reinstalling. -
I have always used Lightroom with a PC and now have installed Lightroom 3.6 on my new iMac. I cannot import raw (NEF) files from iPhoto (or from my Lacie drive for that matter into Lightroom. I have tried Lightroom Help to no avail. How do I import NEF files from the iMac into Lightroom?
If they are the same nef files that you were importing into your PC, see if the reason is an error message like the thread above this one. Permissions issue.

Adobe CC installed but I can't select my pictures fro iphoto on the Mac as it is greyed out.
Help please. I have subscribed to Adobe CC but cannot access my RAW files from iphoto on the Mac. I have tried going from iphoto to Export - Original but it says it cannot do it. I have tried accessing from photoshop and selecting apps. iphoto but iphoto is greyed out. Is there a setting I have to change to be able to reach my files that I stored on iphoto before getting Adobe CC.

How do I find the icon for pages. If I go to the finder it leads me to the store and pages has already been installed. Not used to the Mac.
You did not say what version of OSX you had. I assume Lion (OSX 10.7)

There are lots of ways to start a program.
1. Spotlight: Click on magnifying glass top right of screen, type "Pages" and hit return
2. Click on the Launchbar icon on the dock (silver disc with rocket). If you got pages as part of iWork it will be in an iWork icon containing all 3 apps.
3. Click on the Applications folder icon towards the right of the Dock on the bottom of the screen
4. If you opened it before Menu > Apple > Recent Items > Pages

The Yosemite update wrecked your Ps CS5.1 installation. Thank Apple for that.
The workaround is to uninstall CS5, look for, download and run the Adobe CS Cleaner Tool, Repair Permissions with Apple's Disk Utility, install CS5 from scratch, apply all available updates to it, and then Repair Permissions with Apple's Disk Utility once again, in that precise order.
You should know that there are bunches of bugs and issues that Apple still has not managed to fix in Yosemite. Users have been advised to downgrade to a more stable issue of OS X and some have. -

Everything is in the title... I just "successfully" added my old PC to itunes match in order to listen to my old library on my mac, but itunes won't associate my music to anything : when I go to itunes match in itunes, all I can do is pay... And I'm already paying, and itunes just told me that this was the second computer (out of 5) that I had added...
So I don't know what to do...
I tried to close itunes and open it again, tryed to activate itunes match again, but nothing works...
I also restarted the computer... Still won't work...
Any ideas ?

Yohann.You need to transfer your iTunes Library from the old computer to the new one - then you can carry on syncing as normal. You can't move non-purchased music from an iPod to iTunes using iTunes. For purchased music, choose iTunes > File > Transfer purchases...

I am trying to sync an audiobook from iTunes to a 7th Generation iPod Nano. The manual says audiobooks can be synced to this device by going to iTunes, selecting the Book button and selecting sync audiobooks but when I select the Book button I do not see any syncing options to select.
