I just downloaded CS6 and the doucmentation says I should have HTML5 Video as an option under Insert Media and I do not. why?

I just downloaded CS6 because the website said I could link to .mp4 videos with the new features. I did not download the CC because I was told by support that it is the same as CS6 but you would be billed monthly. I was following the instructions to Embed video in HTML5 and I followed all the steps until the step for Insert - Video and select HTML5 Video. My software does not have this option. No need to duplicate replies. This is a web forum so replies are seen by everyone.
The plain hard truth is CS6 on perpetual license is not the same software as CS6 on the Creative Cloud. Version 12 will never get new bells & whistles added to it. But 4 months after CS6 came out, the Cloud version received 2 significant upgrades that totally changed the software from what you have. This fact frustrated many Cloud users who were trying to learn CS6 from text books that were rendered obsolete by Cloud upgrades. Anyway, it was a very confusing time for everyone. And that's why there are 2 versions of CS6.

After downloading it have you installed it ?
If you are on Windows run the .exe file to install it and if on a MAC run the .dmg file to install the program.
If you have already installed it, then on Windows click on 'Start' button > Go to 'All Programs' and select the application you want to launch from the CS6 Suite.
If on a MAC the program is listed under 'Applications'

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Just downloaded CS6 and got Save For Web error

I just downloaded Photoshop CS6 and I made a GIF and saved it then realized it was to big so I saved it again with the Colors as 128 instead of 256 and got a "Could not complete this operation. An unknown error has occured." now I can't Save For Web at all. I deleted the save for web preferences and I'm still getting the same error. I'm using Windows 7 Starter btw

It should work just fine. Perhaps load the 64 bit version?

The latest ACR for CS6 is ARC 8.7.1 and ist get installed into a common folder that both Photoshop and Bridge use. CS6 perpetual Windows should be at level 13.0.1.3 and Mac at level 13.0.6 where subscription CS6 version should be at version 13.1.2. You may have installed ACR 8.2 into Photoshop CS6 Plug-in folder that is not the correct location.. Where it goes depends on your OS Platform and level.

I purchased Lion on the app program but that did not seem to update my software or my operating system. Curious. It showed up on my menu bar saying it was downloading then disappeared. Don't know if there is an option make the download window stay up, but you can bring it back with Ctrl+J then right-click on the download to open the folder it was downloaded to.

When I clicked on "DesignStandard_CS6_LS16.exe I am told the application can't open because Microsoft Windows applications are not supported on OS X. Does anyone know how to contact Adobe directly? I keep going around and around on their site and have found no e-mail or phone number to contact them to get this straightened out. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks so much out there for any assistance!
