I just downloaded facetime this morning and when i try to open it a message pops up saying there's an internal error, quit and open again, and when i do that it still pops up the same message and suggestions?

Make sure your time and date are set properly for your city/timezone. In fact, you should have your location services set to automatic. Also it is important that you have all of the latest software updates for your operating system installed through Apple software updates.

Let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.

Welcome to the Support Communities! There are two things I can think of to keep your Stepdad's information separate from yours on the computer and the iPad. On the computer, he should have his own administrative account, and on the iPad he needs his own Apple ID for iTunes and iCloud services. Here is some basic information to get started. If your Mac has multiple users, you should set up an account for each person so he or she can personalize settings and options without affecting other users.
Add a user
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Users & Groups.

Follow the steps below to create a new user account in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

i cant access firefox, everytime i try i get that windows can't find the file, i tried downloading it again but it still gave me the same message. the problem has nothign to do with my internet because it wonks on internet explorer and everythign is fine, my computer just can't access firefox for some reason. i tried uninstallign ti adn then installing it again, but that didnt work, i tried installing a different version and it still didnt work.
okay the exact message is" Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files\Mozilla Forefox 4.0 Beta 1\firefox.exe'. make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search.
Nothing happens after i install is the "Launch Firefox now" checkbox set, the same message comes up.
i usually start firefox from the shortcut i have on my desktop but when this happened i thought that the shortcut is the problem, but i went to the Mozilla firefox folder and tried it from there, but it didnt work. i also tried downloading different versions of firefox but that didnt work either.can you tell me the solution to "windows cant find firefox" error. thanks.

I keep getting the message: Your account is not valid for use in the US Store. You must switch to the Canadian Store before purchasing. I have selected the Canadian store, but still keep getting the same message. Any suggestions?

Are you certain that you are signed onto iTunes & Apps in the Canadian store?
Settings>iTunes & App Stores, click on your AppleID, and then click on View AppleID. Type in your password, then click on Country/Region. Once there, follow the prompts and then select the Canadian Flag.

Did you follow all of the instructions i.e. since resetting your password have you also logged out of your account on your device by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (Settings > Store on iOS 5 and below) and then logged back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it ?

Now that the photo gallery in MobileMe is ending, is there another photo sharing site to which existing iPhoto albums can be transferred as is, with photos in the same order and with titles, and with minimal problems?
No. If you don't have the album you originally used to create the galleries you can do so by dragging the photos from each gallery to a new, empty album. Then when you find the photo sharing site/option you have decided on you can easily upload each album to the site.
Another option is to obtain a hosting service and create iWeb photo pages for each album and future albums similar to this photo page in one of my demo sites: iPhoto Book as an iWeb Slideshow. Or you can use the iWeb album page and have an album for each iPhoto album on it like on this demo page: Page-7 .

Before you restore the iPod from the backup that Dave had you make yu have to transfer stuff from the iPod to the computer since the backup does not contain the apps themselfes, music, synced phots and some other stuff. To see what a backup contains see:

• Movie in iMovie has same fps (NTSC or PAL) as the iDVD project - must be
• Trashing iMovie and iDVD pref files so that new error free one is made on next start-up
• Run Repair Permissions (Disk Util tool)
• Run Repair Hard Disk (Disk Util tool - but now You must start Mac from DVD or external hard disk - can't do brain surgery on one self)

I'm trying to upgrade Logoc Pro 9.0 academic version to 9.1.7 to use on a new MacBook pro. When I try to do incremental upgrades to 9.0.1 or 9.0.2 it says I don't need them. When I try to upgrade to 9.1.7 it says there is no version eligible to upgrade. This all on the older MacBook currentlu running 9.0. But I need to upgrade to 9.1.7 to transfer it over tp the new MacBook w/ Retina display.
I think I just got it. I had the actual Logic Pro.app in a folder called Logic Pro inside the applications folder. When I moved the actual app out of the folder and into applications it worked. I am in the process of updating now. However it seems a little strange because that's how it installed from the discs - into a folder named Logic Pro within the applications folder. I would never have figured that out on my own. So thanks for those who posted solutions to other users similar requests.

If you've purchased extra iCloud space then that gives you extra storage for your backups. How much space do you have on your actual iPad : Settings > General > About > Available, and what iOS version do you currently have on your iPad ?

As i try to sign into the iCloud a message comes up that I need to reset my password for security reasons. So i did that and tried to sign in with the new password and It gives me the same message. I have no problem with my password for I was able to post this problem.

I can't access Safari any longer. Each time I click on the icon, it states that "the address is not valid".
I've even deleted the Safari and downloaded it again, but the same message persists. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?address bar wasn't accessible, so I did the Toolbar drag back. The invalid address is set as home page in Safari - Preferences - General.
