Yes. Log into the Mac App Store with the Apple ID used to buy it and then download it from the Purchases tab.

It is just as the message says. Your video card is not compatible.
You can add a compatible graphics card and use FCP X with your mac. I can't suggest which one, but maybe other people on this forum can guide.
And you may also get good suggestions in the Mac Pro forum.

I just bought Final Cut Pro X, I have used Final cut Express 4 with no problem using a firewire supported camera, Now I find out there is no video camers I can buy for Final cut Pro X for under $500, all the video cameras are now USB and for PC Microsoft based computers, What the He..? Does anybody know of a video camera (AVCHD) HD for around $300 to $400 I can buy, I really do not want to buy off ebay ...I'm not sure what Apple's policy is on returning software That has been downloaded but If I can't find a video camera for this software...I want my mony back. Help??

I don't understand what you are saying. It doesn't make sense and is not true.
Cameras using FireWire are now a thing of the past. These were the traditional Mini-DV tape types that we have known for the last 15 years.
Almost every camera made nowadays is AVCHD which is ideal for FCP X and their prices start at about £180.
They use USB instead of FireWire but that is no problem whatsoever.
They work perfectly and are much better in many ways than the old mini-DV tape cameras.
I am a complete dinosaur, always harking to the past, but even I have embraced them as a fantastic step forward.
And they are very cheap!
I could go on and on.
So what is the problem?
You can buy a brand new AVCHD camera for £180 which will work perfectly with FCP X or you can use your old mini-DV tape camera.
It's a win-win situation however you look at it.
P.S. You can ignore the list of recommended cameras. It is completely meaningless as new cameras are being produced all the time and there is no way Apple could get hold of them and test them even if it wanted.
Take my word, almost every camera made will work perfectly with FCP X.
I would say that every camera will work but there may be some weird type to prove me wrong.

I'm getting an error 100 when i try to download final cut pro x

I'm having an issue in downloading Final Cut Pro from the Mac App store. I've seen all the "log out, then log in then stand on your head" steps to make it work but it doesn't. I can download apps, just not Final Cut. I've uninstalled my trial version but am still getting the error 100. I'm running a mid 2009 mac mini with a (2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, NVIDIA GeForce 9400 256 MB, and 8 GB of memory). Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I just bought Final Cut Pro X. It says downloaded already, but I couldnt find it anywhere,no track,no file. They say go to purchase page and download from there, but only INSTALL button, I clicked but nothing happened. I did it over and over after realized nothing happened. my Mac Book Pro system is fit, 10.7.5. I did clean all my Final Cut Pro Trial file already. Please help.

Final Cut Pro X should download into the “Applications” folder...
If you still can’t find it ? / Repair Disk Permission / Restart your computer...

What Mac do you have?
To find out info about your system,
Click on the Apple symbol in the upper left of the OS X main menu bar. A drop down menu appears.
Click About this Mac. A smaller popup window appears. This gives you basic info like what version of OS X your iMac is running, the speed of your iMac's CPU and how much RAM is installed.
Click on the button that says More Info.
A larger window appears giving you a complete overview of your iMac's hardware specs.
Highlight all of this info and copy/paste all of this into another reply to this post, editing out your iMac's serial number before actually posting the reply.

When I then tried to copy my work done in FCP Project that's originally DV PAL , into a new FCP Project that is HD, and tried reconnect media with original HD movies (video), the sequence project got distorted for all the text, shapes used and all.. everything changed its orientation and scale.. Is there a way by which I can preserve my work done on DV PAL and switch it preserving its proportions, scale and orientation, but on a HD project sequence?? Appreciate your help and advice..

Yes. A couple of ways that might work.
First Way
What you need to do is load one of your hd clips in the viewer and edit into a new HD sequence. Does it display correctionly?
OK, select the clip in the hd timeline and copy (command-c). Now go to the HD sequence with the material that's distorted. Select all (command-a) and paste attributes (option-v) and choose basic motion and distort. That should maek things work. What won't work is anything that you've adjusted as far as basic motion or distort in your PAL sequence. That I'm pretty sure you'll have to redo.
Second Way.
Choose your original PAL sequence and do a Media Manage changing the sequence preset to the appropriate HD paramenters with the media offline. You then should be able to reconnect these clips with your original HD media.
