I just downloaded Firefox 6.0. The web page asked if I wanted to upgrade. What is the most recent version of Firefox and why can't I get it denoted in the propperties link? Also why is it not compatible with AVG Tool Bar?

Get what denoted in what properties link.
You can get the version number in Help -> About Firefox,
and in '''about:support''' typed into the Location bar, and you can use JavaScript to list the user agent -- javascript:navigator.userAgent
I'm not aware of any version of Firefox from Fx 2 on up to Fx 6 where "AVG Safe" is not a problem. Crashes aren't the only failures caused.

First, are you positive it is really not there? Have you looked in your iTunes folder in your Music folder, and in the media folders there? Do you see your media files?
If your media are gone it is a lot easier to restore from a proper computer backup. Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

Extensions for Firefox, such as the Google Toolbar, include a list of compatible Firefox versions. Currently, the Google Toolbar only goes up to Firefox 4. However, people have tested and it actually works on Firefox 5, so there are two workarounds:
(1) Edit a file to revise the range of compatible versions
(2) Install an add-on that lets you ignore the range of compatible versions

Yesterday I downloaded the most recent version of itunes and created a playlist....i was unable to burn it to a CD. Firefox 15 not compatible with Norton Tool bar, is there going to be a fix?

When will you fix this problem with Norton's Tool Bar compatability? I use this feature all the time.

I had Firefox 18 that crashed with Windows 8, and I also had my Norton toolbar. However, I removed 8 and installed back 7 (Windows), and Norton disappeared. Therefore,I went to Firefox 15 and my bar was back. It was back for the past 2 days, and now it is gone, out of the blue. I have the new Comcast Norton 360 and it has been updated - but my bar is gone. I want my bar and it is the only bar for privacy that I trust. I prefer Firefox 18, if I can have it with my Norton bar. Any ideas? I am not able to go to add on's and click onto "enable" because it states that it is incompatible with Firefox 15, therefore, there are no enable or disable buttons. What is going on?

I just want the old version of it back since I apparently can't download the Adobe stuff that is necessary to keep my computer safe from Hackers. It sure would have been nice to know there was an issue with the new Firefox Update BEFORE I uploaded it. I have Vista which is usually an issue with both Adobe and Firefox. I don't seem to be able to run much of Adobe at all on my computer because of the Vista.

I downloaded the most recent version of iTunes and now it won't launch

I have a PC with over 800 gb of space, most of which is unused, and am running Windows 7, and when I opened iTunes (which opened and worked just fine) I was prompted to download the most recent version of iTunes and iCloud. Upon completion of the download, which indicated it was successful, I had to restart my computer. When I tried to launch iTunes this time, I got two error messages: "The procedure entry point ADAdPolicyEngine_DidEnterStation could not be located in the dynamic link library iAdCore.dll" and "iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes."
Last summer I got to the point where I was unable to access iTunes at all and worked for weeks with Apple support to correct the issue to no avail. I had my computer in the shop and they were able to clean up a couple of corrupted files, and thereafter iTunes worked great.
I'm afraid to uninstall iTunes for fear I'll never get it back. Anybody have suggestions?

P. S. Just got brave and uninstalled iTunes and re-installed it. Got the same error message: Entry Point Not Found - The procedure entry point ADAdPolicyEngine_DidEnterStation could not be located in the dynamic link library iAdCore.dll

iTunes checks for updates approx. once a week. If you go to the Summary page for your Touch and look next to the" Check for Updates" button it lists the date that iTunes will perform the next check for updates. To check for an update before this date, click the "Check for Updates" button. If iTunes doesn't indicate that the iOS 5 update is available for your device then you're Touch is probably not supported by the new OS.

Have recently installed AVG Free 2012, then received a Firefox update stating that Firefox 7.0.1 was not compatible with AVG and would be disabled; my AVG screen says I am up to date and protected. Which is correct?

In the last couple of days, I received an update of the Free AVG 2012 program for virus protection. Saturday morning when my husband booted up and checked e-mail, he first received an update from Firefox which then alerted him that my computer was now not compatible with AVG, AVG would be turned off; should Firefox search for another compatible program? Having no clue, he clicked NO. When I check the AVG icon in the system tray, it shows AVG2012 up to date and running. The appropriate boxes are checked ok. I have had this problem for a while since I did a previous Firefox update, where I had to force Gmail to load in Basic HTML else it's next to impossible to use it. The solution is this: simply update your Java, and Gmail will work without a problem using Standard HTML. To update your Java go here: http://www.java.com/en/ and select "Free Java Download".
