I just downloaded IOS6 on my Iphone 4S. I used Itunes and downloaded music and now when I go to my Music they are not there and can only be played from Itunes??

I just downloaded IOS6 on my 4S and dowloaded music from the new Itunes. However, they dont transfer into my MUSIC and can only be played from my Itunes app? I have restarted my phone and nothing.... help!

I would not suggest starting anew AppleID as you will have problems with previous purchases.

Authorize your computer for your old AppleID then File > Devices, select your device then Transfer purchases.
I highly suggest you sort out the issue with your old AppleID and continue to use that. Remove your personal info from the new AppleID and don't use it.

iTunes will only import music from your phone that was purchased from the iTunes store. To transfer music from other sources you have to use 3rd party software, such as PhoneView.

That depends on why it won't open. Most of the time it means the file is corrupted and unlikely to be recovered. If you saved it right after adding or copying a LOT of layers - then it might just be the layer limit and we can attempt to recover it.

If you are now in the US then you can only use the US store, so you should update the address on your account
Changing country : Change the country of your iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, and Mac App Store account.
Had you copied the songs over to your computer's iTunes library, do they show in the Music section on it ? You can copy purchases that you still have on your iPad over to your computer's iTunes library via the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option

It depends on how you wiped your drive. Depending on how you did it, only the directory was erased and the data can be found with drive recovery software. Some are free, although there is a small charge for most of them (~$30). You can usually download a trial version that shows if it will work and you have to pay to be able to save the found files. Use Google to search for the software. Different programs work differently and can find different things.

If you log into Icloud.com, are all your contacts correct there? If the answer is Yes, I would then turn contacts OFF on your phone, and then turn them back on. Do not merge, but replace with Icloud content.
This is usually the quickest way to edit a bunch of contacts, through the web interface.

Why are all of my purchases downloaded from the cloud but can't be played from iTunes?

I recently updated iTunes as prompted. Many of my songs disappeared. I was able to get most of them back. Some of the songs I purchased will not play in iTunes. I've checked my history, and it says that all songs were donwloaded. Why won't they play?

But I would think that the purchases would be saved onto my Itunes account and therefore redownload into my computer. I have been able to retrieve about 9 of the 20+ songs that I bought by syncing my phone however the other purchases are still not there. Also, when I go to the Itunes store and back to the purchases, the button you press to buy it says "PURCHASED" so I know I don't have to rebuy them. If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.<br />
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

My iphone under settings, Icloud and photos, does not allow me to select icloud on or off and the same with photostream. They are lightened compared to the other choices, and say on. When I touch it nothing happens.
I have signed onto Icloud on my pc and enabled it, but still it says photostream is turned off. Any ideas what to do? I have used photstream in the past without problems.

It sounds like you have restrictions turned on on the device. Settings>General>Restrictions.
