I just downloaded Photoshop cc and I cannot figure out how to open it and start editing??
I have never used these products before so this is all new to me. I open the creative cloud icon it saved on my computer when I downloaded it. When I click on photoshop though it just keeps taking me to the download page. Thinking I did it wrong I clicked download and it still does this. How do I open the program?

In Windows click on start/ All Programs and launch Photoshop.
You may even navigate to C/Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop CC/ run Photoshop.exe
Mac: Go to Applications and look for Photoshop and launch it from there.

Or did you mean you had downloaded it to your iPhone, and you were looking for the app in iTunes to activate it? If so, that is not where you would do it. You need to sign on to your iCloud account on your computer - that's where it is housed....

And PDFs are not realyl meant for editing, so whatever you have in mind probably won't be doable, anyway. Well, at least not by just hacking it with Acrobat.

Cannot figure out how to open and view a coredump
I've been having frequent issues on not just Linux but also Windows, where the symptoms are always the same: all the applications notify me that they crash, and for Linux, the screen freezes, while on Windows there's a blue screen in addition. Trying to analyze Windows' dump of course proved futile. However, while I did get a core dump on Linux in /var/lib/systemd/coredumps, the file within the xz archive, when opened with a log viewer like KSystemLog, shows timestamps but also binary code in the description field. The `coredumpctl` utility is little help to me too. Not even a Google search on "systemd core dump view" gave any good results, seeming to discard the keyword `view` from the query.
So my question is: how do I view a core dump or get coredumpctl to analyze it? `coredumpctl gdb` returns nothing$ coredumpctl gdb <keyword>
e.g.
$ coredumpctl gdb vlc
will show the latest vlc dump file with gdb. -
I know how to take bookmarks from Windows 7 (firefox) and put them into another windows machine. I know to import them into Ubuntu, I have to open up firefox in Ubuntu (already pre-installed). I just cant find any bookmarks list in the Ubuntu firefox list that I can access, so I cannot import them using "import" (which everyone says glibbly) to get them in. How do I access bookmarks in the pre-installed firefox.

You'll need to transfer the bookmarks backup file from your Windows PC to your Ubuntu PC - perhaps by emailing it to yourself or copying it onto a USB stick. Once you've done this, here's how to copy (import) them into Firefox on Ubuntu:
# Click the Bookmarks button [[Image:Bookmarks-29]] and select ''Show All Bookmarks''.
# At the top of the Library window, click on ''Import and Backup'' and select ''Restore''.
# Click ''Choose file''
# In the new window that appears, browse for the bookmarks file, select it and click ''Open''
# Your bookmarks from Windows should now be imported.

I am new to Lightroom and have also just changed from Apple to PC. I cannot figure out how to download photos from the Photoshop library to a file that will be sent to MPIX for processing. Also, does Lightroom have an easy access to a photo processing capability such as MPIX?
Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps. -

I am using Adobe Creative Cloud. I have just downloaded Photoshop CC and found it installed two versions. I beleive the 32 bit version and the 64 bit version. Is there a reason it has installed two versions? Can I remove one version as I am running a Windows 8.1 64 bit machine?

I updated Photoshop CC last week, and now have Photoshop CC and Photoshop CC 2014 in my applications folder. When I open a file created in Photoshop, it opens Photoshop. However, if I open another Photoshop file (by double-clicking on it), it opens up in a second Photoshop app (not the app that's already open)... so I have two Photoshops open at the same time. And both are CC versions. -

i just downloaded photoshop cs6 and installed it, but i don't know that to do now. it isn't popping up anywhere on my mac. it is just giving me the option to install it again.
It should be in your Applications folder in Finder.

Apple has every iOS posted and available for download for every iPhone including the Original iPhone very first firmware. Just type what you want into Web Browser and it is there. If you have trouble post back here.

Hi, I lost my entire music library when my hard drive crashed 2 wks ago. It's all on my iPod, though..but the songlist appears gray. I just cannot figure out how to download my iPod music list BACK into my iTunes library. All they seems to address is Library -> iPod transfers. I'm not an iT geek.. Help meeee!
