Which operating system are you using?
When you say downloaded, where did download pse 7 from?
Do you have the original install disk or original download for pse 7?
I believe the serials won't interchange between the disk version of pse 7 and the electronic down load version.

    I guess the first thing you now need to do is to get the latest drivers for your printer because as you say you uninstalled it from your machine and now reinstalled it again.  I don't know why you thought printer should have been uninstall;led but anyway, please reinstall the driver and then see if it is recognized by your operating system and try scanning something as a test from outside the PSE13 before going back to PSE13 and trying to scan your real image.
    Please post back so that Barbara or R_Kelly can help you as I don't use Apple Mac.

I can find the folder with all the download stuff in it, but not the actuall product? Why? Where would it be? BTW this is a trial version I downloaded but i still need it ! And its happened before!

    What operating system are you using?
    Did you notice the installation process after the download was complete?
    If you cannot locate the application in your programs list or applications folder, please look for "Adobe Download Assistant" and run it.
    It should start installing if the download has been completed. Also, do you see a setup file in the folder which has the downloaded files?

    Make sure your in the Full Edit mode and then you can press Shift+R to cycle through the tools that are in the same slot as the Smudge Tool.
    Or click and hold on the Blur, Sharpen or Smudge icon in the toolbox to see the Smudge Tool

    What do you mean you loaded the lessons? They should just be sample files to follow along with the book. This likely has nothing to do with the issue you are encountering.

    I was referred here by customer service.  I have downloaded Photoshop elements 5.0 to a new PC.  After accepting the agreement I receive an error message saying  "Your Adobe Photoshop Elements user name, organization, or serial number is missing or invalid. The application cannot continue and must now exit."  There is no place to enter the serial number.

    All your pictures will remain safe even after uninstalling the program. Your pictures are saved to your system in form of catalog present at C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\Catalogs\<your catalog><br />When you reinstall the program you can open this catalog and view all your photos again.

    Upgrades for Mac App Store versions are only normally available for the current version although PSE11 is not on the store AFAIK.

  • Problems downloading Photoshop Elements 9 software to my new computer using Windows 8

    Can someone please assist me in getting my software to work on my new computer.
    I have installed the disc...... almost at the end of installation the computer froze and eventually after a couple of hours, I removed the disc and interupted the installation.  I switched the computer off and restarted. I then tried to uninstall.... but then was prompted to put the disc back in to unistall, but the program looked like it was trying to install again!
    Eventually after waiting for about half an hour, nothing was happening and i have given up.  I just want to use my software! 
    i then went into the Control Panel>All control panel Items>troubleshooting> selected> system and security> fix problems with windows update - now I can actually open the photoshop version.... but when I trying to do something to the photo, an error appeared and shut down the photoshop!
    Basically can I use this software with my new windows 8 computer?  If not is it possible to download and pay for an upgraded version so I can use with Windows 8?
    Any assistance would be much appreciated.

    Unfortunately, ANY signs of 'neglect or damage' automatically become the cause of any issues you're having. As in it doesn't matter if your screen was flickering before it was dropped, when they see the dent or cracked screen, that screen flicker was caused by the drop. Because they  have no way to know if you are telling the truth (it's nothing personal, they just literally dont' know) so any signs of damage become the reason for your issue. The only way out of that is if you had taken in your iPad and, even if you didn't get it replaced, an apple employee can have documented that yes, that issue existed before the drop.
    It's not fun, I know, but that's just how it is. Any signs of 'neglect or damage' and that 'neglect or damage' is the cause of your issues.

    I was able to do this until I updated. I need help fast as I need this feature to complete daily tasks for my job. I've come to a halt with my work because of this.
    I have the two files open as shown below. I'm trying to insert the image in the file on the left to the file on the right but when I drag to drop into the file, it doesn't happen.
    The cursor indicates it has picked up the image but it doesn't indicate that it can't be dropped, it just doesn't work. Help!!

    Just downloaded Photoshop Elements 11.         A file,     'Photoshop Elements_11_WWEFDJ.7Z'  appeared alongside the normal program file in Downloads. 
    I cannot open this  .7Z file, on my Windows 7 Computer.  The Application itself seems to have downloaded properly and appears to be functional.
    Please advise me what the .7Z file is, and is it necessary for me to open it,  if so, how?

    Then erase everything from the address bar and copy and paste the below link in the same window

    and press enter.
    Once the file is downloaded. Make sure both the files i.e the file that you downloaded and the 7z file are in the same location.
    Then double click on the exe file it will extract the contents from the 7z file.

    The changes have brought improvements but also drawbacks compared with the old slideshow editor.
    The templates are now fairly fixed but I find the “Classic Dark” gives reasonable results with some panning and you can click the audio button and browse you PC for any track. Unfortunately there are only three speed choices linked to the music track. The improvement for most people is that you can now export to your hard drive at 720p or 1080p and upload to sites like YouTube and Vimeo.

    Does your mac have an intel processor or PowerPC processor?

    Did you insert the disk that is labeled mac os?
    After you insert the disk, it should show on your desktop.
    If you double click on the the disk icon on the desktop, does anything happen?
