I just downloaded the lastest iphoto update and I can't find my all photos. How do I find these photos? Where did it place them? Please advise.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Hello, I am quite new on these forums, and mainy joined because have problems with latest update of iTunes, which seems to have caused problems of one kind or another for various people. I think basically people are now waiting for a 'patch' from Apple to fix things.

I have just downloaded the latest "Office" update, and now my xls files only open in "Numbers". Can this be fixed?
You can try right clicking on one of your xls files select get info then select open with, select other then choose office excel and check the box to say always open this file type.

I just downloaded the new itunes update, now I can't copying TV shows purchased from the library to my backup computer, it says the files are invisible. Never had any problem doing it until the update. I have a Mac Pro G5 OS 10.6.8. The desktop hidden files app doesn't reveal the TV shows.

I just downloaded the Java software update and now certain programs aren't loading that use Java?
So I downloaded the new softeware update and now my programs that use Java won't load. Does anyone know what I can do.
Due to the extreme unpredictability of the Flashback Trojan, that was constantly changing (and a new variant that's been detected and seems to be worse), Apple decided to play it safe just in case the revised Java code was still vulnerable. So, Java is disabled by default for applets and must be manually enabled as needed (with the warning about possible vulnerability).
So, head on over to Java Preferences, in Utilities, and enable the thing as needed. Disable when no longer in use for security's sake. BTW, if you enable but don't use Java in awhile, it is configured to self-disable for the same reason. -
I can not download the last Iphoto update that I already purchased it by app store, and in the actual version 9.4.3 it does not work the sending photos by e-mail.

Finally the Iphoto 9.5 was installed...any way ..I had to go to app store to purchase it because the previous version did not updated autimatically... only shoed me that there is a new version ...but it guided me to the app store to purchase it.... and I did it because I did not know that the up date was free...and the sistem did not adviced me about that...
I have the last up date of os x 10.9 already...
in this new version I have no problem to send the photos by e-mail... but in the previous one it allways showed me an error message like ¨I should try later because the server does not work¨ but I tryed with 4 differents e-mail account that worked perfectly in the app Mail.
any way, this new version is ok..

vinylguruClick here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

How do I get Mountain Lion on my macbook after I have downloaded and installed it on my IMAC?
You'll need to sign in with the same ID on both computers to download it.
Or you can re-download it on the machine where you installed Mountain Lion (as it's deleted when you install it), and then you can copy it to the other machine and double click it to launch it and install. -

Eureka, I found the problem with not being able to open itunes after last update. This evening received a prompting for an apple update for Quick time player. At first almost deleted it in my digust with apple since last update, but figured hey, could mess things up any worse, and so clicked yes. Apparently problem was with quick time which was also updated with last itunes update, as after that my itunes opened up. Appears to be lots of changes, but hey, can always learn them now that it is working.
