I just downloaded the new iOS. I can't sign in to my Apple account.

My phone is asking me to sign into my Apple account, but it has an incorrect email account/Apple ID on the screen. It will not let me change the email to my correct Apple ID, and it will not accept the password for the correct ID. When I went online to try to fix the problem, the only thing I can find to do is change the password, which doesn't help. I need to be able to put in the correct Apple ID on this sign in (in settings, the correct ID/email is listed, but for some reason it is different on the set-up pages).

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Then try again.
