This same thing happend to me, you have to make a new account and you have to chose your birthday as if your under 18 or 16, because if you dont own a credit card, you shouldnt be over this age, so basictly just make a new email and appleID and when you chose your birthday, do it under 16 years of age (or your REAL birthday) and you should have an option of clicking "none" for credit card options, but if you want to buy something, you will have to do the credit card stuff, or you can just buy an apple gift card at basictly any store, So this is how i fixed my problum, i hope it works for you, write back your responce of how it worked out please!

i have the ipod touch 4th generation and the screen is white, i was going to charge it and it turned white. I have tried to reset it but the apple logo will not show up and it will not turn on! i just got it for christmas... can you please help?
The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos. i have been having an issue with updating my ipod touch for some time now and i can not seem to get it to update to the lastest update. it is stuck on 4.2.1 software and i can not update it to 4.3 or any other ios software update. can you please help me to solve this issue.
It sounds like you actually have a 2G iPod Touch which can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1. If it's an 8 GB iPod Touch it's definitely a 2G iPod Touch as there was never such a thing as a 3G 8 GB iPod Touch. See this article to help verify what generation iPod Touch you have.

JWhy not just restore from the last backup you have?
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Steps you know to do:
*Put the iPod touch 5/4 into Recovery Mode or DFU Mode for 10 seconds by holding Power and Home button.
*If you want to perform Recovery Mode, keep holding Power and Home Button for 30 seconds and let it go.
*If you want to perform DFU Mode, let it go from power button and keep holding home button until iTunes logo appears.
*When you're inside Recovery or DFU Mode, click OK.
*To erase and unlock by removing the passcode, you need to restore. Click Restore iPod to continue.

I am also experiencing some problems with the new software version, I bought the Belkin TuneBase for my car 25 days ago it had been working fine since I upgraded my Ipod 2 days ago, you know that sometimes if you don't get good reception you can change to a diferent preseted station on this Belkin Transmitter but since this Ipod upgrade I can't change to a diferent station and also i can't disconect it like before because before it said you were ok to disconect and I'm afraid to return because perhaps afterall is a software problem.
