My ipod broke and all my songs were bought on my itouch how can i get the songs if it doesnt even turn on?

i have the first generation ipod touch and the place on my ipod where you charge it broke so you can not plug it in. i bough almost all of my songs on my itouch and just got a new computer and was going to put all my songs onto my new laptop but the charging place wont let me do it. my ipod is not charged so i cant use it and i bought alot of money's worth of songs and there and can not afford to buy all the songs again. i just got a new ipod but i need to get my old songs onto my itunes. how can i get my songs back?

Doesn't matter if the laptop is new, your account is not new.
Download iTunes 10.3.1 (current) when installed click on the 'purchased' link in the sidebar then click on 'download previous purchases' (lower lefthand corner of page) and download them again.

The iPod is not a storage device, all songs should reside on a computer and you can only sync to one machine. However, if these songs were purchased from iTunes you can reload them (see link). If not, and you have no backup, then they are gone.

TS4036 I cant access my Itune store from my PC. I have entered my ID but still can't access the store. I have tried removing it and re-installing it but to no avail. I can access the Itunes store with Iphone and Ipad but not my PC.

I can't access my itune store through my PC. I have tried removing and reinstalling Itunes,but to no avail. I also tried accessing trough I cloud on my pc but it say apple ID not correct but my Apple ID works on all my other devices such as Iphone 4s and Ipad 2. If I go to Icloud.com I can access my account but can't get to Itune store.

The apps I currently have are for the i phone and i pad but i would like to see this on this computer
On the Mac Air launch iTunes. Then connect either the iPad or iPhone.
Select the iPad or iPhone under Devices left side of the iTunes window in the source list.
Then select Apps from the menu on the right.
If you don't see the apps listed there, from your iTunes menu bar (top of your screen), click Store > Authorize This Computer.
See if that makes a difference...

I have downloaded several songs and all the songs are either broken up or stops half way through . What can i do to sort this ? I have tried ACC version and it tells me an error has occurred.

What format are these problem tracks in? If they are MP3's, trying running them through the MP3 Validator utility to have it fix any missing or corrupted track data.

If you don't have it on your backup of your downloads/library then you might be able redownload it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage, or if you go into the Store tab in Edit > Preferences (iTunes > Preferences on a Mac) and tick the 'show iTunes in the cloud purchases' tickbox it might then show in the Music part of your library with a cloud icon against it for redownloading. If it doesn't show then check to see if you've hidden it : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases.

Toggle Airplane mode On and Off.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Check for a carrier settings update. Tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, a prompt will appear.
Remove the SIM Card and verify that it is a valid, carrier-manufactured SIM. Also verify that it is not damaged, worn, or modified. Then reinsert it.
Restore the iPhone.

However, some won't play and ask me for the password for the apple id they were purchased under. 2 of these ids are obsolete and I have no access to those accts. The songs all played on my old computer without prompting me for a password.
Any ideas how I can get around this hassle and get them all to play? We're talking about 800 songs that are being obstinate. The new computer is authorized under my "new" Apple id, which I have used for years.

Make sure you don't have any notes that have no content or subject or this can prevent syncing with Outlook. If you do, delete them.
If you don't, try unchecking "Mail,Contacts,Calendars & Tasks with Outlook" on the iCloud control panel for Windows, choose Delete at the prompt (the data will still be in iCloud), restart your PC, then go back and check this setting again. (Your iCloud data will reappear in Outlook after a brief delay as it redownloads.)
Then create a new note on one of your iOS devices and see if it appears in the Notes folder in Outlook mail after a few minutes.

in the iPhoto preferences be sure the action when camera is connected is open iPhoto
What program are you using to import the photos?
If they are in a folder you can drag that folder onto the iPhoto icon in the dock to import - our launch iPhoto and under the file menu import from that folder

You need to use the backup of your PC to transfer all the music files to iTunes on the Mac.
If you have no backup then you have a difficult task ahead of you as iTunes will only allow you to sync purchased music from the iPhone back into iTunes. Any music you loaded into iTunes yourself will not transfer from the iPhone to iTunes, this is to prevent stealing of music. To sync iTunes purchased music from the iPhone to iTunes, connect the iPhone and open iTunes, but when asked do NOT sync the device. then right click on the iPhone in the iTunes source list and select the 'Transfer Purchases' option, you will also find this commend in the File menu.
If you are in the US, you can use the new iTunes in the Could feature to redownload your iTunes purchased music / apps / books for free.
If you want to transfer all the content from your iPhone to you Mac then you will need to use Google to find a 3rd party piece of software that will do this for you.
