i just got a iphone 3G. i plugged my phone up to itunes last nightt and it locked it. on the front screen it says plug into itunes and i can only make emergency calls. i put my sim card in there and it said no service. what do i need to do to unlock my phone????
Ask the Verizon store to exchange your iPhone for a different iPhone 4.

Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.

Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.

I just got a new iphone 3GS and was trying to sync it with my itunes information from my old phone. However, I keep getting multiple error messages and after the sync is complete, I find that everything has transferred except my purchased itunes music and voice memos (I record my class lectures). I am not sure what I can do to fix this. Any ideas?
The error messages are:

You can have one icloud account and a different itunes account on the phone. I have my icloud account and a shared itunes account. He does not have to use the new icloud account as is ID in itunes and app store. He can keep using the old one.

I just got a new iPhone 4 and i tried to download some songs from my itunes account onto my phone and it bricked my phone! So I can't use my phone, it's locked. i just got a new iphone 4 for att and my friend installed the sim card in it for me. the imessage function isnt connecting with the my cell number. a while back i had logged into my apple account on someone elses cell phone and their number keeps showing. when i try to just select my number to send and recieve imessages from it will not show up. i can send and recieve regular text but not pictures or imessage. i have tried logging off and restarting and nothing has worked.help please!!

I just got my new iphone and I gave my phone the same apple ID as my iPod. Then I added $40 to my iTunes thinking that I could buy songs freely. When I went to go buy an album it said that I needed to answer some security questions to complete the purchase. So I clicked yes and it brought me to two questions that I totally forgot the answers to so I hit the link that said if you forgot your answers click here. I clicked it and it brought me to this website that you see all your information about your apple ID. So I went to privacy and security and the same two questions were there. I tried and didn't succeed. I even sent myself the email and I have been trying this for days on end and still never received any emails about those questions. So I thought what if I create a new apple ID then mabe I could transfer ONLY the money over, is this possible?? Because I would hate to see forty dollars go to total waste.

I have Windows Vista computer. I am trying to upgrade my ITunes so can share files with other home computer. (Just got the new IPhone). I get this system error: The procedure entry point AVCFPlayerItemDurationChangedNotification could not be located in the dynamic link library AVFoundationCF.dll. Tries system restore and redownloaded...NOW Itunes will not even open. Can anyone help?
I uninstalled Apple Application Support, opened iTunesSetup with WinRar, and went down the list of msi's. AppleApplicationSupport was an install, all the others I did Repair. Did not have to reboot. Works okay now.

Delete the account on your phone. This will not delete any data on her phone or iPad, or data stored in iCloud.

Make sure you have iPhoto's Photo Stream preferences set as follows:
What happens when you drag photos from the Photo Stream window in iPhoto onto the Events icon in the left hand pane? That should import the photos into the library.

1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
