I just got a new iPhone 5s and iMessage is still set up through my email- why?
I previously had an iPod touch with iMessage set up through my email.
Just today, I got an iPhone 5s. I realized that I was still receiving group messages that I was previously in on my iPod.
I told my friends that I had gotten a phone and they pointed out that the messages I was sending still said that it was my email.
I went into Settings, but I couln't find anything about my iPhone being set up through email... is that even possible?

If you have an existing ID, but no credit card to associate with your account, you'll have to redeem an iTunes gift card. If you don't want to do that, you'll have to create a NEW ID by following the directions here:

Ask the Verizon store to exchange your iPhone for a different iPhone 4.

I just got the new Iphone 5 and when I send a message in a group text it keeps sending it as an email and as my phone number. The people in the group text are complaining that it is creating a new group message everytime I text. How do I fix this?

when you open the app store scroll down to the bottom it will display the apple id currently in use, change it to your normal apple id email

My wife just got a new iPhone 6 and took some great photos then I connected it to her computer and restored it to her iPhone 4 settings and lost her new photos. Is there a way to recover them?
Sorry, unless she backup up the new phone before or is using iCloud to save the photos, the photos are gone.

Well I just got a new iPhone 4 and wish to use my Toyota Prius Hands-Free capabilities with the new phone in my 2006 Prius.
I tried setting up in the car but it says to enter pass key on the phone; which I can't figure out how to do as it gives me a key pad but
the only button is the "Call" button???You must unlock your phone by entering its passcode (if any), then go to Settings/Bluetooth. In the car you must enable Pairing mode (check the manual for the car). When the two see each other you may have to enter a pairing passcode, but this should be displayed in the car. For most hands-free pairing the passcode will be "0000", but you should check the car's manual.

I just got a new iPhone 4S and tried to restore but it didn't finished downloading all the apps, tried to reset and restore again, but it wouldn't start over. What can I do?

Check USB connections
If there’s an issue with the USB port, cable, dock, or hub, or if the device becomes disconnected during restore, try troubleshooting the USB connection, then troubleshooting your security software.
Common errors: 13, 14, 1600-1629, 1643-1650, 2000-2009, 4000, 4005, 4013, 4014, 4016, “invalid response”, and being prompted to restore again after a restore completes.
To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:
Use another USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port on your computer.
Try a different dock connector (or no dock).
Add (or remove) a USB hub between your device and computer.
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, with no routers, hubs, or switches.
If you see your error after changing your USB connections, continue to the next section to troubleshoot your hardware. -

You would need to buy a new operating system (Snow leopard 10.6.x, or higher).
Before doing that, it would be best to check to see if your Mac can run the higher operating system.
Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About This Mac", then "More Info..." Copy and paste the information into a reply here, but omit the serial number and Hardware UUID (if present). -
I just got a new iphone 5,and when I try to update my phone, and install the aps that I've already purchased onto it, it says I don't have permission to do so.
Contact your carrier & have them reset your Voicemail. Most carriers require such, so after they reset it, just set it up again.

As you connect your ipod to iTunes, an option in the upper right of the screen will appear. When you click this, it will show the different menu for your ipod.

Just got a new iPhone 5 I've plugged it In iTunes restored it and everything has gone over to the new phone but my phone is saying no service has been for the past 5 hours
