I just got a new macbook and had elements 11 on my windows pc. can i download it onto my new macbook or do i need to purchase it all over again?
I was told i could download it to 2 computers at a time. can i download it to a mac and windows pc or do i need a different version for mac? and where do i download it?

i just got an ihome system and had trouble with it connecting to my iPhone. I finally got it to work and now my itunes doesn't recognize my phone. My software is up to date on both my Mac and my iPhone and I have shut everything down and restarted. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.) -
hi just got my new apple ipod touch and to download apps it wants to add questions about myself for more sercurity information. i get up to question 3 and it wont let me select a question but it will let me write an answer so i just pressed done and then it says i cant carry on because ive mised out information when it wont let me do a question!

You might try to see if you can change your security questions. Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account > Password and Security.
I'm able to do this, others say they need to input answers to their current security questions in order to make changes, I'm inclined to think its worth a try, you don't have anything to lose.
If that doesn't help you might try contacting Apple through Express Lane (select your country, navigate to iCloud help and enter the serial number of one of your devices) -
With a new modem do I have to set it up all over again?
I just moved home from college. I set the AirPort Express up while I was down there using a modem down there. I plugged in my AirPort Express at home and plugged in the ethernet cable from my home modem to my AirPort Express and it is not working. My question is, do I have to set up the AirPort Express all over again on my MacBook? It is the same MacBook by the way. Also, if this is the case, and I have to re-install the set up software, what do I do if I have lost the software? I hope I'm not screwed. Thanks.
Are the two modems of the same type, e.g. cable modem or DSL? What was connected to that home modem before you tried to connect the AirPort Express to it? Did you reset the home modem, perhaps by unplugging it for a few minutes, when you switched devices?
The AirPort Utility program that you used to configure the AirPort Express should still be installed on your Mac unless you deleted it. If you did that (why?), you can download it from Apple's Web site. -
I want to change my theme in Iphoto and I wondered if I am likely to lose all my text. Any advise as I really don't want to start all over again. Many thanks, Yvonne
Duplicate the book first. Then change the theme on the Duplicate. If the text is lost - it shouldn't be - then you can go back.

You should ahve been syncing the contacts with your computer all along. Just sync them to the new one.
Everything should be on your computer as you should have been syncing.
If you failed to sync everything with your computer, then you can try restoring from the last backup.

I am using Windows Vista. Both LastPass and the auto form filler have disappeared from my toolbar. Is there a way to retrieve this information or do I need to start again?
Do those extensions still show as installed in Tools > Add-ons > Extensions?
If not then it is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the files extensions.* (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

I just got a new macbook pro. How do I get the 900+ songs that I took off of cds into iTunes on my computer from my iPhone. I had no problems syncing the music I had purchased from iTunes. I have tried to sync it using iTunes match, this did not work. I would like to have access to my full library without going into the user profile of my old computer, which is on my new computers hard drive. I would like to eventually delete the old profile so that I have more space on my hard drive.

Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..
