seems to me that you maybe only updated the syncengine but not portal/webservice.
I had that error once after an recovery from scratch and forgot one of the hotfixes to apply to all services.

I have just agreed to software updates on my imac and now can't open my mail. There is a message saying this version of mail isn't compatible with this latest software. I have located the updated mail in the applications folder but it won't open. I don't have the original operating software disk. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Your reply suggests that you have moved Mail to a different location, which (as I said) will prevent it from being properly updated. You cannot use Mail 4.5 with any recent version of Mac OS X. Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) included Mail 5 and Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) includes Mail 6. I'm assuming that you have either Lion or Mountain Lion, but if that is incorrect, you will need to provide that information.
At this point, you will need to reinstall your system. Hold down command-R at startup and reinstall the system right on top of the old one. This should not disturb any of your documents or applications, though you should have backups beforehand in case something goes wrong. And at this point, with your system in an uncertain state (I don't entirely know what you have done to it), something could go wrong.
You will also want to delete the old copy of Mail 4.5, wherever that is. You can't use it.
In the future, do not move any of the preinstalled applications. Leave them where they are. -

If you have Yosemite you need iphoto 9.6 from the App store - what is the exact error message you are getting?
Try dragging the iphoto Application to the trash from your applications folder (wait tot empty the trash) and then install iPhoto 9.6 from the App store

I have an Airport Express 802.11b/g, model nº A1084. Mac OS X 10.7.4. When I run Airport Utility it says that the version (6.1) isn't compatible with the base station and suggests to use the version 5.6. I try to download and install it but a message says that the version of Mac OS is not compatible with this version of Airport Utility. Apple is trying to make me crazy?
Thank you Bob for the correct link. To be honest I have no idea how you found that. The Airport 6.1 utility gives the message that 5.6 is needed, and the link unhelpfully just goes to the US support home (I am UK for a start…) - and endless navigating eventually gets you to 'other Airport Utility Software' - and there is, the incorrect version for Lion…
I have managed to setup the Express using the software link you provided :-)
iteachcoffee - workaround - get someone with Lion on a laptop, or better, Pre-Lion so you don't have to download the special software (like the wonderful Snow Leopard for example) and set up your Airport with that.
The Apple answer I'm sure is simply: Get a newer Airport! ;-) (annoying I know, my old one works perfectly!) -
I have a proxy server and the server is allowing me to go to iTunes. But I get a message "Error in accessing iTunes store. Please try again later." Error code ox80092013. I cannot find that code in the troubleshooting section. I have just installed a new PC HP5750, with Norton IS 2013. I installed the current version of iTunes directly from the iTunes site. My proxy server is American Family Online web browsing filter. I contacted them and they said there should not be a problem with their server. I have had an account previously, but has been inactive for several months. I even tried to create a new account, but still got the same error code.

Hi guyz just fixed mine just now, I used an app named iREB please refer to the below link. Make sure youre iphone is plugged in to your USB then launch the app as admin. As soon as the app is running go to the "Recovery Mode Loop Fixer" tab & hit the "Set Auto-Boot True (Fixes 1015 errors / Recovery Loops). It will restart your iPhone in just a moment & get you back to your homescreen.
I hope this will help those whos undergoing this horrifying iPhone problem.

I am so sorry I am frustrating you. This is the first time I have used this community and am leanring as I go. Yes, I see that I can get the later version of OS software, but its not availabe for immediate download. My only options appear to be having it shipped, or going to the store to purchase. When i open itunes it gives me the option to download the new version 10.3. my computer will not support 10.3. i can't by pass the download to continue with my current version of itunes. i've trashed and reinstalled 8.2.1 twice. any solutions?
I am in the same boat. I tried repeatedly to contact iTunes support, but was told each time that I had contacted the wrong deaprtment and they could not help me. There must be a way to still be able to use the iTunes store without paying for a system update. If not, I hope they will reimburse me the money I have in my acount.
