Have you taken the steps recommended in the User Guide: restart, reset, restore?

The keys that no longer work are on the lower row, from Z~/ (plus the left-most Command key and the space bar on the bottom row). System is iMac (Intel), about five years old, running 10.5.8 (happily), with a wired keyboard (with number pad).
Solutions tried (all without fixing the problem):
- change to another keyboard
- change keyboard(s) to another USB port
- reset SMC (twice)
- reset PRAM (twice)
- switch to another User Account
Kind of running out of ideas ... Anybody have any suggestions?Other things tried:
- checked all the options in Universal Access, to make sure none of the 'Sticky Keys' etc. were activated
- booted from the Install disc ... still no go. Even then, the same keys don't work.

The album covers don't sincronize with my iPhone 4.
On iTunes i have every album with its cover image but i've resincronized all the music of my iPhone and the album covers haven't sincronized, like if they don't have. Before this some covers changed alone between albums. Is it a common problem? How can i solve it?
I have the latest version of iTunes (11.0.2) in my iMac 21,5 inch and also the lastest version in my iPhone 4 (6.1.3).
PS: Excuse my english, my first lenguaje is spanish although i made an effort to write this wellI have the same problem.
When I upload new music on my iphone, the album covers are all unmatched! In iTunes files are correct and if I put the same songs into my iPad, the covers are all alright. Another "funny" (not at all) stuff is that if I erase and then reupload the same song, cover art are different from the ones uploaded before... Everything started when I upgraded my iOS to 6.1.4.
I think this is a software bug, please check and provide a solution! -
My album covers are messed up on my iPhone 4s, but not on iTunes.
I have an iPhone 4s and I bought a few new albums recently on the iTunes Store. When I synced them to my phone, certain album covers, including the covers of the albums I had just bought, were not the correct ones. They were mixed up with other album covers that were also on my phone. On iTunes on my computer, all of the album covers are correct, so it is not iTunes. I tried updating my phone to the most recent software and restarting my phone, but the problem remained. I also tried deleting the albums from my playlist and putting them on again, but the album covers are not just messed up in my playlists, but in the phone itself. I have tried syncing to the computer multiple times, but the phone has remained the same. How can this problem be fixed?

Duplicate Album Covers in Genius Mixes
So I've noticed that in my Genius Mixes on my iPod, some of the album covers show up twice for the same Mix. They show up correctly in iTunes, but for whatever reason, they don't on my iPod.

You don't get list view or cover view with the mixes. You can always submit this as a request to Apple at:

Also, some of the album covers are showing up and some not.
Are you talking about in iTunes? When you select that individual song in the main "music" section and pull up "Get info", do you see the artwork in the artwork tab?
Or is it ok in iTunes and is the problem just on your mobile device? If so, which one.
I can't see what the mix is as the list won't show up and that makes the Genius mix not worth using if I can't even see what Itunes is selecting for me.
You can pull it up in DJ if you want, and that gives you a glimpse of what's in there, but only a max of a 100 songs. But, frankly, it sounds like the lack of visibility into genius mixes are sufficiently annoying for you that you might want to consider not using it. Use plain old genius playlists (select song, hit , save it as a playlist): That behaves more like it sounds like you want. -
I have a iPhone 4 and I use a hotmail email account. Recently it's not been notifying me of me of emails. I've checked notification settings all set to get them but when you look at overview of notifications the email ones not shown like other apps do? Can anyone help its driving me mad?
I had the same issue. I just went to the Apple Store today to talk to someone about it. They had me delete the account and then add it back in. It's been working fine ever since!

I got a iphone yesterday and today I was rearranging the icons and now I can't find my camera or safari icon any ideas what happen?
They can't be deleted so one of 3 things happened:
1) You moved them into folders or to different pages. Reset the home screen layout if you can't find them. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.
2) You set up restrictions on them. Settings>General>restrictions.
3) You added an Exchange account for which the administrator has specifically prohibited the use of Internet browsers and cameras on phones.
The only thing you can do in case 3 is remove the Exchange account and appeal to your IT department to change the policy. -

I'm in Nova Scotia, Canada and when I try to use Siri it loads and loads and then says, "I'm really sorry about this, but I can't take any requests right now. Please try again in a little while."
I rebooted and it didn't fix the problem. I just got my iPhone 4s (unlocked right from Apple) several weeks ago.Siri has been a bit more erratic than usual in the last week or so. Apple has announced a major announcement for 9/12. Conclusions are left to the reader.

I did not do my research before changing my Apple ID from an outdated email address to a current one. I just changed and verified and though I was all set. WRONG! Now I cannot sign in to iCloud because it will not let me enter the new Apple ID. I read the 10/30/13 randers4 post to just change your Apple ID back then sign in and change it to the new email address again and then you can sign in, but I cannot change back to the prior email address Apple ID because that is no longer an active email account (or at least not mine). Any thoughts on how to get signed into iCloud when it does not allow me to type in the new Apple ID and the old Apple ID no longer exists.
I see that many people have asked, but no one has come up with a solution that I found.
Thanks for any help!This did not work for me. My old email account for iCloud still pops up on my screen every time I open my macbook. I've deleted it, reset it, every thing I can think of and it still shows up. I think six months of this is more than enough time to wait.

My mail will not delete. When I move it to trash and then delete it, within a few minutes it has all bounced back in again. Checked my preference settings and all seems to be in order. Any ideas how to resolve this frustrating problem?
That sounds like a compatibility issue with an add-on that you have installed, as reported by a number of users in both Firefox 22 and Firefox 23 over the last couple of months. If you would provide a listing of your installed extensions ''(as you were prompted to do when creating this thread)'' maybe one of us can advise you which extension is the mot likely culprit. You will need to re-install Firefox 23 to do further diagnostic testing.
As far as the compatibility of Firefox 23 and Win XP SP3, Mozilla has verified they are compatible and not one user ''(including me on two separate PC's)'' has reported a problem with compatibility. -
I have been attempting to wipe/erase the iphone 4S I recently purchased...for the past 20 hours....I went to Reset in Settings and clicked on "Erase All Content and Settings"....At that point the phone the screen went dark except for a white circular symbol revolving - indicating something should be happening....
The instructions indicated that, depending on what needed to be erased, the process could take several hours. Even though the device had a Tom Tom application with all the maps of Europe etc (about 2GB) and there were several other apps on the device, it does not seem to me normal that the device would be still clearing into the next day - today!

Richard W.Something has gone wrong. Turn your phone off, then force it into recovery mode & restore it:
Press the Sleep/Wake button & Home button at the same time, keep pressing until your phone turns off, then release.
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.
Make sure you have no anti-virus software running or any firewalls...turn all of that stuff off. -

I get the impression that iTunes essentials are just lists of tracks.
iTunes uses the Artist and album information to determine the artwork so it should pick up the appropriate artwork for each track if the album and artist are correct.
Certainly this is the case for an album consisting of tracks from several albums - if the artist and album name are set to the original album. -
My aunt recently upgraded her software to ios 6 and lost all of her contacts. However, when I updated my software this did NOT happen. She hasn't backed up to iCloud, so does anyone know of a way to restore her contacts without the iCloud?

The iphone is designed to be synced to your computer or cloud service regularly. If she failed to do this, then they are likely gone. -
Went looking for fun movies to download for my holidays. Found Sixteen Candles and others for £3.99, great! Went to download them this morning on wifi and ***! All movies are now £6.99 each. Total RIP OFF for old movies. Why oh why iTunes? Stop being so greedy and make older movies a more reasonable price. I would buy a lot more, it's just false economy in my book. Don't get me started on the difference in price with the US.
