I just got an iPhone 5c put my pass code in and now says I'm locked out and it's wrong. What do I do
I just got an iPhone and it is telling me the pass code is wrong. What do I do? Have never hooked up to I tunes
A few questions:
1) Where did you get the iPhone? If you bought it used, it may be left over from the prevous user.
2) Do you have a computer?
If yes, does it have iTunes on it?
If you do have a computer with iTunes on it, you can set it up for restore to factory settings.

Well, assuming all of the above, Notifications, etc., it just might be time for a visit to the Apple tore genius center for a session with the techs. See if it is a fault in the hardware or just an iOS reinstall is the answer.
One more thing you could try, backup so you have a record of content, then restore to factory conditions be an Erase All Contents and Settings. Then restore from the backup you just made. That has helped some with WiFi problems, may be it would work with your problems.
But with that behavior of another app with problems, the geniuses looks like a less stressful thing to do. -

No, no one here can help you, & neither can/will Apple. Only Orange can authorize the unlocking of your phone, & typical of most carriers, they will only do so for customers using the phone on their network.
Either establish service with Orange, then request the phone be unlocked, or sell it to someone that can use it on their network. -
Just got my iphone. It won't let me get off the regulations page. I thought I remembered that I pushed I agree. It seems to be stuck on there.
After four days it's definitely not doing anything. The spinning 'beachball' means it's siezed up. Can you click away from the window involved and get to the Finder? Try hitting command-option-escape and force quit anything listed there are 'not responding'. If you can't get that list up you'll have to force a shud down: hold the power button until it shuts down. Then try again with your fingers crossed.

Hi there, I would like to know how to unlock Optus iPhone 5. I got an iPhone 5 from Optus new phone is only 2 months old and the phone is on 24 months contact . Now I tried to unlock but I can't unlock if I can unlock my phone so I can use in oversee next week. Only the carrier the phone is locked to can authorize unlocking it. Why do you think they would do so before you complete the terms of your contract? I don't know specifically what their policy is, but most carriers won't do so unless they are legally required to.
If you didn't want to use Optus, why did you sign a contract with them? -

The iPhone is locked to the UK carrier, and only that carrier can unlock the iPhone for use in Italy. Your cousin needs to contact the UK carrier about unlocking the iPhone.

IPod says "disabled connect to itunes"... wrong pass code from my 10 year old. I put to recovery mode and 10 minutes into restore it tells me to put the pass word in but the iPod is still locked... help I can't put the pass code in and I can't recover.... He feel awful!

I just got an iPhone 4 and I'm trying to use it on the t mobile network. The thing is, I've tried restoring the phone so I could use it. I haven't tried my sim on other phones yet. But I will try to see if it works. The iPhone is supposedly factory unlocked btw. Anyways, when I put in my tmobile sim, it searches for the service, but it always ends up saying NO SERVICE. I checked that my network says that the "phone not allowed". So I don't have 3G on this phone I presume. I heard that you need 3G to have service is that correct? But how do I resolve it? The iPhone does know that my phone carrier is tmobile. It just says no service. And I've tried restoring it three times and turning it off and on and it won't work. I don't have a data plan for tmobile tw! Hopefully someone can help! Thank you so much in advance!
If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked. I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money. Hi. I just got the iPhone 6, plugged into itunes and made the mistake of putting an OLD back up on my new phone resulting in losing all contacts after 2013. They are not saved on the cloud. Is there any way to go back to before I screwed up?
If you have performed a sync with the device since you restored this old backup, then don't bother looking for another backup. iTunes writes over the last backup each time you sync. If you were handling contacts in iCloud, you would find them by logging into iCloud. Or you can check settings and iCloud and see if the button it on for Contacts. Otherwise it might have been on the computer, if you had a program that syncs with iTunes and handles contacts, depending on the computer system you use. If Windows, it would be Windows Contacts or Outlook. If a Mac, there is a Mac Address book as well.

If the iPad has Activation Lock - that is, it's asking for the previous owner's Apple ID and password to activate the device or to turn off Find My iPhone - then you will need that information. There's no way around it If your father can't remember the password, he'll need to recover it.

I unfortunately just got my IPhone 4s stolen.I thought I had the find my iPhone enabled but I didn't because I cannot locate the phone when I sign in ICloud.I have a password on the phone but i'm not sure if I turned on the option where the phone resets if you incorrectly put the password more than ten time. I immediately called my phone company (Verizon) and reported the phone stolen.So I know whoever took the phone cannot place calls or use the phone. But can they still access my data on the phone if they manage to unlock the phone? If so how can I erase all data on the phone so the thief can't access my personal information? is there any other way other than Find my IPhone to wipe off the data on the phone? I really don't want my personal information such as pictures, text messages, notes and social networks profile available to a stranger!!? Help please!!!

You are able to activate an old device and process an insurance claim for your iPhone 4s within 60days from the incident date. Keep in mind if the old phone is not a smartphone and you currently have unlimited data that feature will fall off. If you have a tier data plan no changes will be made. hi, thanks but when i connect my wife's iphone to the pc it does a three step synch at the end of which nothing has transfered to her phone.
asking it to synch on the dropdown menu top left pf itumes page or asking for synch after going into the icon for her iphone on top right does same three step synch with no result. i have no set up my itunes library on a separate pc (notebook) and put her apple id and password into the share function, and her id and passwoed onto share function on this pc. that gets my 'library' up via the share menu top left but it doesnt synch onto her phone either...
