I just got called by a head hunter about a LV job
He said he got my information from the NI web site. I've looked around for ways to get information about myself to determine what info is available about me and to ensure that it is accurate. I wasn't able to find anything. I recently passed the CLAD exam, so I suspect that is where it came from. Where do I find this info? Who is able to see this info about me? What is the privacy policy concerning this info? I was surprised that the info about me was available. I don't recall granting permission to post my info. Nor did I ask that it not be posted.
My profile is set to not share information with 3rd parties.

The vast majority of people who hold a certification want to be listed, so details are posted to the web site by default.
I do understand that some people may prefer not to have their details listed and if you want yours removed from the certification listings, then we can do this. Please let me know your preference.

I just got called from BB mobile and set up 12;Pm for tomorrow. I was surprised because I am the 28th and 29th on the list, it is pretty much at the bottom of list (around 32 pre orders in total). Just got our first iPhone. Question about 8 disappearing
Got an iPhone 5s from Sprint. It has iOS 7. I made the mistake of having it plugged in while it was on WiFi and it downloaded 8 but we didn't install it. Don't remember if it was 8 or the 8.0.1. Anyway the d/l took up 4gb out of the 12 that was available. I just noticed that I have 12gb back and available and 8 is no longer showing anywhere. I read that Apple recalled the update? Is that what happened to me since I hadn't installed it? Did they actually delete it from my iPhone? Now there's a message saying to get 8.0.2 but it says Download and Install not just install. If I never do it will the flag eventually go away?
Yes. It is possible. Just sign in to your Apple ID on both of your iPhones in the App Store.

I am having a lot of trouble with trying to use my debit card on purchase of itune apps or music. Whenever i put my card information in it tells me that this card is invalid. But there is no way that my card is invalid because i just got it last week. So the only thing i haven't done yet is call my bank to check and see if all my bank statements match but if they do then have no idea what to do to get this to work with my computer, ipad mini, or ipod HELP! PLEASE!
I am having this same problem and I have even contacted my bank. The address they have is EXACTLY the way I am typing it. It does match. I do not understand.

Question about the sensor... just got my 4s yesterday after screwing up my 3 with the laterd version update. EVery call I have been on has either changed to speaker, called another number or ended the call or activated facetime, which I have turned off. never had this trouble with my 3...I don't even want to talk to anyone on this phone! Is the sensor bad? That is what the AT&t rep suggested.
Restore as new... if the problem still continues then there is a hardware issue.
If it stops after a restore as new, then the issue is with the backup the device is currently setup with. -
i just got a iphone 3G. i plugged my phone up to itunes last nightt and it locked it. on the front screen it says plug into itunes and i can only make emergency calls. i put my sim card in there and it said no service. what do i need to do to unlock my phone????
Ask the Verizon store to exchange your iPhone for a different iPhone 4.

Hi I have just got some wireless head phones and while using Bluetooth with my iPhone 4S the sound breaks up all the time but if I use a friends iPhone 5 or my iPad it's fine no problems atall! Any ideas what the problem could be people??????
Unpair the headset from the phone with the problem. Restart the phone (hold HOME and SLEEP until an Apple logo appears), the pair the headset again. Also, look for things nearby that may be causing interference in the Bluetooth band. Cordless phones are a common cause of interference.

Just got a 5C, is it normal that when you transition from Siri to calling someone that the symbols along the top or screen go all feint and blurry?
I have one it works fine. yeah, the Mac instructions aren't great. Try this.
(1) make sure you have your VCR audio and video outputs connected to the side with the two selection switches.
(2) be sure you know the difference between the audio and video outputs no matter which colors you use.
(3) make sure the indicator light is green on cable that connects to your computers firewire port.
(4) when you operate the vcr through Imovie. you will only be able to play your vhs tape. so to fast forward or reverse. you must use your vcr remote or your hand.
(5) to import your footage just click on import in imovie.
That should solve your problem. Also, in the future put these questions in the imovie forum.

I just got iTunes 11.0. From all the previous versions I'm used to being able to return to the beginning of a song by hitting 'enter'. What's the new command for skipping to the head of a song?
Mmmmmm. Works OK for me. I've tried every variation I can think of. Play from playlist, play from library, shuffle on, shuffle off, single song repeat on/off, playlist repeat on/off.
WAIT !! Now I've found it !! It happens when I have the sidebar hidden and play a playlist from the PLAYLIST pane. Hitting Enter then takes me to the FIRST song in the playlist.
WAIT AGAIN !!! In the time it took to write the above, it changed again and works properly. Well properly is not really true. It works if I stay in the PLAYLIST pane. If I switch to the SONGS, ALBUMS or ARTISTS pane, enter does nothing. BUT, if I switch to the GENRES pane, enter starts the first song there. AND, if I've switched away from the PLAYLIST pane and switch back, enter then starts the first song in the playlist.
WOW !! That was a crazy ride. I think we can safely say that there is something awry. -
I just got the iPhone 5. It's completely synced and working. All my contacts are loaded. However, caller ID is not working when I receive a call or a text. Can anyone help me out with this?
Well, assuming all of the above, Notifications, etc., it just might be time for a visit to the Apple tore genius center for a session with the techs. See if it is a fault in the hardware or just an iOS reinstall is the answer.
One more thing you could try, backup so you have a record of content, then restore to factory conditions be an Erase All Contents and Settings. Then restore from the backup you just made. That has helped some with WiFi problems, may be it would work with your problems.
But with that behavior of another app with problems, the geniuses looks like a less stressful thing to do. -
Just got 3g-so now I get lots of dropped calls?
So I live in a fairly rural area of Iowa, a college town of about 50,000. I just got 3g with At&t a few weeks ago. Ever since then, I have been experiencing some random dropped calls. When the other party tried to call back, they get my voicemail after a couple of rings or a "this number has been disconnected" greeting. I find it odd that just because I got 3g, I now get dropped calls. That has never been an issue for me before.
Also, the first several minutes I am on google maps or another location based app, it says I am over 70 miles away. This only occurs on 3g too. THe problem eventually corrects itself. At&t has been looking into this issue, but anymore insight as to why might be good to know.

You will get better service if you turn 3G off. Go Settings > General > Network > 3G > OFF. -
Just got an iPad mini. In mail I want to create a folder to save certain emails. I'll call the folder "Saved". Should be simple, right?
For IMAP mail like Gmail, you can use the Edit button to create new folder. It doesn't work for POP mail.
