I just got my iPhone yesterday. Everytime I try to download anything it keeps displaying "Your Apple ID has been disabled." and I do not know what to do. I sent off my e-mail to Apple last night and I am still waiting for a response.

I just got my iPhone 4 yesterday after having a Blackberry for 3 years. Everytime I try to download any type of application it keeps displaying "Your Apple ID has been disabled." Before activating my iPhone I downloaded the most recent iTunes. I even went back today I reset my password after some minor research made the suggestion. I sent an e-mail off to to Apple last night after their Apple tech was no help at all. He is the one that suggested the e-mail and that he could not help me. I am really frustrated at this point. I am hoping that someone will be able to help me out. I was extremely excited about getting my new iPhone 4 and now I am just over it! Help please!!!

You need to contact iTunes support and send an email by following the link I posted.
Simply going there does nothing.

I have contacted Genuis Bar and they restored my iphone to the factory setting and all of my old apps which I had on my machine are also gone. They did an icloud backup restore but that also does not allow any apples to be added to my Apple device - Iphone.

When your account becomes disabled, Apple provides the following recommendation:
"This message means that someone tried and failed to sign in to your account multiple times. The Apple ID system disables the account to prevent unauthorized people from gaining access to your information. You need to reset your password, following the instructions at the Apple ID website".
Visit iForgot.com and follow the instructions there.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > store, scroll down and tap your ID)

I am having issues with my Apple ID and iTunes. I can log into the Apple ID with no issues on the Apple website and on my iPhone and computer but as soon as I try and do an update to my 51 Apps that need to be updated it says "Apple ID as been disabled" and I have contacted iTunes and they said that my credit card was hacked so they shut it off. Whenvever I try to update apps on my new macbook pro 15" retina, a message appears saying my ID has been disabled and then another appears saying we could not complete your request with error message 18. I can however sign in to other things without trouble.

My Apple ID was disabled per my request because someone kept hacking into my icloud account and charging over $1000 worth of games. I went to AT&T yesterday and had them reset my password and said everything would be fine now. Well, its not. Nothing with upgrade. It still says my Apple ID is disabled. For your ecurity questions, if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on your account then the steps half-way down this page will give you a reset link on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

Depending on why it's been disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'

If it then works on your computer's iTunes but not your phone/iPad then try logging out of your account on the phone/iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it
