I just got notified my appleid was locked

So I just got notified that my appleid was locked for security reasons. I went to https://iforgot.apple.com and entered the information again but when I get to the screen for my trusted device I can not go any further. I have 2 step verfication enabled.
According the Apple help page if I have my appleid and my recovery code I should be able to reset my password.
When I click "dont have access to any of my devices" it takes me to the help webpage. And I end up going in circles. I have the email for my appleid as well as the recovery key.
How can I unlock my appleid and reset the password?

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. Happened to me once, about 6 months ago, and a reset got it working again.

You should copy your iTunes library from the older computer to your new laptop using one of the methods described in this Apple support document.

Or if you would like you can use your iPod to move your iTunes library as well, assuming it's a model that supports Disk Mode (meaning it's not an iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad).

You have no iCloud since that requies iOS 5 If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes. And your point? Do you use any third-party 32bit plug-ins that are not available as 64bit versions for CS5 or you haven't updated yet? Do you need to exchange projects with other CS4 users? That would be pretty much the only reasons and if the answer to any of the questions is yes, then keep it around. Otherwise you can of course remove it, but for the life of it, follow this piece of advise.

Where would be the sense in that, when they are two completely different parent directories, even (Program Files vs. program Files(x86)), not to speak of other possible conflicts? Never has been that way with any version of AE...

If you have been using the mac.com Apple ID to make iTunes purchases recently, then there should be no issues continuing to use it with the new iPhone. I would abandon the new ID as you will never get Apple to merge the two IDs. I have had a mac.com ID for years and continue to use it with my iPhone 4S.

The built in email program does sound an alert for new messages.

You could set the iMac to go to sleep after non use. My Macs are
always sleeping when not in use, waking them up takes seconds.
Unlike windoze, never knew if it would be locked up or not.
5. Should I get the extended warranty? I'm usually
against them, but I am expecting this computer to
last me at least 3 years (for $1300 it better!)
before I upgrade, as I got that much out of a Dell
and from what I understand, Mac's do not age nearly
as fast as Windows pc's.

it is good insurance for future upgrades. I traded in my G4 tower

Either you need to contact the previous owner to release the phone from Find My iPhone, or if you cannot contact the previous owner, it is likely you received a stolen iPhone and it will be useless to you.

Just got iOS 7, Lock Screen Blurred When I Have No Notifications?

Just got the new iOS 7 update for my iPhone 5, I realized that the lock screen blurs when you have notifications. So for the first few days if I swiped into my phone, then pressed the button on the top that turns the screen off and takes you back to the lock screen. And it wasn't blurred anymore (thank god! I really like the picture I have for my lock screen. Then after a few days I got some notifications, once again (because I wanted to see the picture I had for my lock screen/I deleted it by mistake and no it's not on my iCloud I checked) I went into the phone and went out and it was still blurred when there were no notifications on display. What is going on?

sometimes seems like the effect may not auto-disappear, as it should. hopefully the "blur with no notifications" is NOT normal.
rebooting the iphone always works to remove the burred effect; and may fix this "glitch", if it IS a "glitch".
but, if your issue is only with notifications blurring the lockscreen, this seems fairly easy to fix, since you can set ALL of your apps to NOT display notifications on the lockscreen. If the iOS doesn't have to display info there, there is no need to blur the background.
you should note that there are things other than notifications that WILL blur the lockscreen; so when you say you're getting "blurring but no notifications"; then this could mean that the iOS is displaying some other info on the lockscreen.
Example: for me the blurred screen has to do with AUDIO PLAYBACK, which causes the iOS to display the "playback control buttons" on the lockscreen. When I PAUSE AUDIO, the blur clears up instantly. So, clearly, Apple designed the screen to work this way.
I will be checking to see if a way to remove the "audio controls" from the lockscreen. given new contol center (which I can access from the lockscreen), there is no longer any need for these controls to display on the lockscreen.
I will be trying to remove everything possible from displaying on the lockscreen, to at least minimize this effect. But think we all need to request that apple add an option to STOP the blur effect on the lockscreen.
