I just got the student package and it still tells me I have to buy all the different programs why?

I just got the student package that lets you use all the different programs but when I click on one of them it tells me I have to buy them. Why?

if you signed up for a cc subscription, download the cc desktop app and install it, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
use the desktop app to install your cc programs.
if you have any installed now that were installed using some other installers, uninstall, clean (Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6) and then install the cc desktop app.

What do you mean "not working"? That could mean multiple different things.
If help is desired, be as specific as possible.

Hi sar23,
You may have inadvertently created or edited the document in the new Numbers 3.0 (which is free; you don't have to buy it) and are now trying to open it with the old Numbers 2.3.
Both versions can be on your Mac at the same time, and can run at the same time. The icons are similar so it's easy to confuse them (old on top here, new on bottom).
The new Numbers 3.0 is in your Applications folder. The old Numbers 2.3 should be in a subfolder in the Applications folder named iWork '09 or similar.
If you accidently edited an old document in the new version and want to take to take it back to the old version, you can export it:

Check out the built-in Address Book Help guide on your Mac (in Address Book, choose Address Book Help from the Help menu. I dont think you can change the way the address book looks in terms of changing its appearance to look more book like, but I could be wrong. I checked out a few google searches and did not find anything that stated how to do what you are asking. If you find you cant change it to your desired specifications, you can always make the suggestion to Apple: http://www.apple.com/feedback/

What I do when I get a new computer is the first time I turn it on is use Setup Assistant. Once Setup Assistant has finished doing its thing, the new computer is just like my old one.

It is no wonder she is not receiving your messages if she has iMessage turned off in her iPad.
For her to receive iMessages on the iPad, she needs to turn iMessage ON in her iPad and then she needs to be connected to the internet in order to receive them. This connection can go through WiFi or through cellular data if her iPad has this functionality, but those two requirements are a must.
1. iMessages ON
2. iPad connected to Wifi or cellular data.

HT204053 I just got a new iphone, and I'm attempting to use Icloud to update but a different Apple ID keeps coming up, why is this happening?

So I have an Iphone 4S and decided to upgrade to a 5C. I used the Icloud and backed up my phone, and started to set up the Iphone 5C. So I enter my apple ID and password when prompted, then it asks me to select a back up, I choose the one I just created. Here is where it gets weird, another apple ID comes up, which also happens to be my mother inlaws. Now some back story, on my 4S, I used a laptop which was my mother inlaws old laptop. Would that have anything to with my Icloud back up though? I wouldn't think so but it not working. ANY input would be appreciated.

Sorry, all content bought using an Apple ID is forever tied to that Apple ID. Content cannot be merged or transferred to another Apple ID.
If you want to update/use those apps, you have to use the same Apple ID & password.

1/23/14 update erase a dll file and who knows what else. I had to restore my computer back several months to get the file back. I just got another update package. Is it safe to use?

Thank you. After two system restores and three program removals using the control panel I got itunes back. I would feel better if Apple would include items you don't need options in installs so that the constant checking for what is not there would not create problems. For me it was MobileMe associations. I never would have thought of Bonjour and (Quicktime - which I don't even use but did not remove just in case)

I just got a new computer and I want to transfer all the music from my ipod classic onto my computer.

I just got a new computer and want my entire library on my ipod classic to be transferred to my computer. I transferred as many files as I could from my old computer through my external hard drive, but many of my cds didn't transfer. When I hook up my ipod, I see it's entire contents. My question is, does a sync only work from the computer to the ipod, or if I sync my ipod will the songs on it be synced to my computer along with all the playlists? My biggest worry is if I sync it, it will go back to the factory settings or I lose all my music. I appreciate any help.

Now from the menu bar click File > Transfer Purchases from...
