I just had to scrub my computer and now my mail doesn't work

I used my account to get back my mail but now nothing will go out and I cannot get anything to appear in my outgoing server space.It shows ep-1-imap mail etc but it is in faint script and nothing I do will change it.Gmail goes off and on and no mail goes out on any of my e mail addresses.I am so frustrated I could scream.Yes,I am a computer novice even after three years.I just never fool with anything.When things crap out I am lost.Help.

What version of the OS X are you running? Go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac and report the Version back here.

I just had my mac mini repaired and now it is saying it is an Un-Authorized computer for Itunes. It is my 5th computer.

If you had 5 computers authorized, one of them the Mini, prior to the repair, then iTunes has continued to have it registered in its original form, but the repairs have made it look like a new computer.
You will need to de-authorize all your computer as described in this Apple Help page, which says
Click iTunes Store on the left side of iTunes.
If you're not signed in to the store, click the Account button, then enter your account name and password.
Click the Account button again (your Apple ID appears on the button), enter your password, and then click View Account.
In the Account Information window, click Deauthorize All.
Then you can re-authorize each of your computers individually.

This depends, if the music was purchased on the iTunes store you can transfer purchases. If it was not then you would need a 3rd party program in order to rip these files to the computer.

Search your email for the word Logic (and set the search to All) and you should find the receipt (so long as you didn't delete it)
Other than that.. simply contact Apple directly and ask.. Make sure you have your transaction details ready for them as they will need it...

Go to your Applications folder>Utilities>AirportUtility.app>and there set up your Airport service. Then return to your Applications folder>Sytem Preferences>Network> and there turn on the WiFi on your iMac.

I did not have this problem on my old Mac. I always shoot RAW and can't open any photos. Can anyone help me PLEASE?!?

Do you have access to another Mac to see if the disk can be read by it? If it can't then you're pretty sure it's the disk. If it can then there may be issues with your optical drive which might be cleared up by using a cleaning disk on it, one that uses dry brushes (no liquid).
If you have access to another Mac and it can read the iWork disk make a disk image of it so you can move the disk image to your iMac and install from the disk image.

Unfortunately you've discovered too late how important it is to maintain an up-to-date backup of your iTunes library (and all other data of value). You could, before wiping the drive, have considered making use of a commercial data recovery service that could (albeit at considerable cost) have extracted your library from the hard disk, even if virus infected.
In the absence of that option, you will need to restore the content of your library from its original sources:
Depending on your location, you may be able to re-download any iTunes Store purchases that are still available on the Store
Likewise, most digital purchases from Amazon (including auto-rip copies of purchased CDs) should be available from the Amazon Cloud and via the Amazon Music application - the same may be true of other commercial sources for digital downloads
Content imported from your CDs will have to imported again
The specific situation that you describe regarding the music imported from your friend's external HDD suggests that either the source is badly organized and/or originates from a source other than iTunes (other media players may use alternative tags for information like artist, title, album, etc. that are not wholly consistent with how iTunes handle these). Hang during restore process: Following Troubleshooting security software will frequently resolve this error. This error can be caused by the default packet size being set incorrectly. There may be third-party software installed that modifies the default packet size in Windows by inserting a TcpWindowSize or MaxGlobalTcpWindowSize entry into the Registry. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet-size modification for assistance in adjusting this TcpWindowSize values. Typically the default packet size is modified by 3G cellular network card software, ISP communication software, or Internet speed download optimization software. There are legitimate reasons to change the TCP/IP packet size and not use the Windows default settings (for example, network traffic optimization, home/broadband optimization, enterprise app optimization such as database apps, Exchange, and more). Deleting the "TcpWindowSize" or "GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize" entries in Windows Registry could affect the system's performance with other apps or on their network connections. Deleting the customized TCP/IP settings may require the reinstallation of any third-party applications that had modified the TCP/IP settings from the Windows default settings.
There are two ways to resolve this:
You can follow this article by Microsoft: How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) , or follow the steps below to manually find and remove TcpWindowSize and MaxGlobalTcpWindowSize entries from the Registry.
For Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7: Go to the C:\\Windows folder and launch regedit.
Go to Edit > Find.
Search for "TcpWindowSize" entries. There are typically multiple entries of TcpWindowSize/GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize spread throughout the entire Registry. If "TcpWindowSize" exists, one or more third-party applications have changed the user's default Windows settings for TCP/IP.
Go to File and select Export. This step will export a copy of the Registry that can be used as a backup of the original settings.
Delete the "TcpWindowSize" entry.
Search for the next "TcpWindowSize" entry and delete each one until the Registry no longer has any "TcpWindowSize" entries.
Close Regedit, restart the PC, and test.
If you are uncertain as to why these registry entries exist and the PC is a business computer, contact your network administrator and determine what values TCP/IP can be set in their Windows Registry setting so that the PC can update or restore an iOS device rather than deleting the "TcpWindowSize" entry.
If editing the registry does not resolve the issue, restoring on a different computer that did not install the communication software is the step most likely to resolve this issue.

^^ that's the main problem. Here's the full history.
I bought a new 13" i5 MBP, early 2011 edition. I had an old white Macbook 2.14 ghz core2duo on Snow Leopard. I attempted to port over my time machine backup, but encountered problems in that my User was inaccessible from the new computer after the import finished, and I had to go in and change the root password, etc, and for some reason or another, I couldn't install any programs at all from that administrator's account. By "couldn't" I mean I could install them, but upon installation they would never boot. So, I took it to the apple store and did a clean install from the most up to date Lion OSX. Then, I created a brand new admin account, instead of trying to import the old one, and things seemed great. Then, I just imported my old files from the TM backup, but not any system settings, permissions, or user data. Just my Docs, pics, vids, apps, and itunes stuff.
Here's where things get weird again. I imported this stuff under the name "old", but all of these folders have a red negative sign on them, marking them as restricted. So, from my main admin account, I cannot even peruse these folders. Since I didn't import user data, I can't sign in to the "old" account to change permissions. I already tried to change the permissions from system preferences, but that didn't change anything. And now, for whatever reason, of all the apps that were imported then, MS Office is the only set of apps that does not work. When I click on it, it just says there was a problem and asks if I'd like to send a report to apple. I tried reinstalling it to no avail. I'm an English student, so i really need access to Word. Can anyone help? The Apple store is a major detour for me and would like to fix this issue myself.

Most likely you have Office 2004 which are PPC-only applications and will not work in Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011. Other alternatives are:
Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)
NeoOffice (similar to Open Office.)
LibreOffice (a new direction for the Open Office suite.)
