I just installed Firefox and am stuck on the "Choose a profile" page because when I click "Create a profile" nothing happens.

Try to delete the profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new profiles.ini file and a new default profile.

Open System Preferences and go to Accessibility. Next, select Display from the source list along the left, then check the box labelled Reduce transparency.

What happened to the zoom bar that lets me increase the size from, say, 100% to 125%? I just installed Firefox, and I no longer find that feature.

A week or so ago I thoughtlessly installed Explorer 10 (Chrome 10?) and immediately began having problems with my google email page and one program I use through email. I got a message that I could not download Explorer 9 to reinstall it, because there "is a newer version on the machine." And I can't find a way to uninstall a browser.
So, I downloaded Firefox and set it as my default browser.
The problem with the email page cleared up instantly; the problem with the program that goes through email got worse (and it still runs fine on a second machine in my house.)
AND---I can't find the zoom button to let me increase the appearance from, say, 100% to 125%, which I very much like to do.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Just installed firefox and msn games plugin is gone & i need it back

im not sure how to go about this. msn started popping up ie9 ads and hooking itself into my system somehow. while trying to stop the interference from ie9, somehow all the fonts in my browser (ie8) were reduced to the point they a pain to read. i finally gave up and installed firefox, but now when i try to open jigsaw or any of microsoft games except solitaire, the system says a plugin is required to run the app, and i cant seem to find & install the proper plugin. also, i dont know how many other microsoft features are now going to require something be done so they will run properly, but thats another problem.

By default it has moved to the right hand side of the navigation toolbar.

I am attempting to access KiwiBank online banking using Firefox (my preferred browser). It allows me to enter my account access number and password but when I click through to the next window which is a secure password window, Firefox flashes at the top pf the page asking me to allow the cookies, I click allow however the KiwiBank window then goes to another window stating my session has timed out - after 3 attempts the bank locks me out 9which is a tad frustrating :o0

I am not exactly sure why the menu did not detect the password change or if it was stored incorrectly after you changed it? But after storing the correct password you can manage any duplicate passwords in the password manager.[[Password manager - Remember, delete and change saved passwords in Firefox]]

Just installed Firefox, and the page won't load. It says unable to connect. Already deleted and reinstalled and followed some tips on the website. It's still not working? Help.

I downloaded Firefox 4 on another laptop without issue (it has windows 7). I downloaded it again on another computer (a lil older with Windows Vista) and it wouldn't open from the very beginning. I fixed the firewall as stated in the help section. I also updated the internet connection settings as stated in the help section. I also deleted and reinstalled it twice, but nothing still works. :-(
