My printer is an HP 8600 OFFICE JET. I cannot print anything when using mozilla. when i'm using explorer and i go to yahoo or yahoo finance or any other website print my stock portfolios, email, etc. but i can't do that when i'm in mozilla.
I didn't have that problem with my HP OFFICE JET 8500.
HP support hasn't been able to resolve the issue.Does that printer appear in the "Printer -> Name" drop-down and can you select it?

I went to use my iPhone 4 s to track one of my devices ,I'm getting a message that says I have no devices almost like I deleted them but I haven't and no one knows the passwords but me . I did try to update my iTunes account yesterday so that I coukd sync my phone because it said that my phone would t work with that iTunes account anymore . Did I do something wrong or did someone delete my devices somehow ? I appreciate any help that I can get .

Does anyone know what happened to printing your own photos in iphoto? There used to be a thing on the left hand side of iphoto that you used to create wallets, 5x7, etc. Now there is nothing there. Can anyone help me? I dont want to order stuff, i want to pirint my own.

I just installed ios7 on my iPhone 4s. It seems to be working fine but all of the apps I had previously installed are gone. They show up in my app store as purchased, but the shortcuts are gone. Does anyone know how to get the shortcuts back? Thanks!
I updated via my iPhone 4s. The apps were on my iPhone 4s. That's all the information that I have. The update to ios7 seems to have gone smoothly - everything else is working, phone texting, email, internet, etc. But all of the apps I had installed over the past year are no longer showing up as shortcuts. No facebook, no twitter, no espn, etc. They are all still listed in my app store as purchased, but the shortcuts and my folders are gone. Thanks.

Just downloaded new verion of ITunes, now when I try to open ITunes get This copy is corrupted or is not installed correctly. Please reinstall ITunes. Running XP. I do not want to lose everything I already have on ITunes.Does anyone know what the solution might be?

Thank you for the response. Typically this error is caused by installing an older verison of iTunes than you had prior. When you installed iTunes did you download the program directly from iTunes.com, or did you use an older copy of the program on your computer? If you used an older version or are unsure, uninstall all the components one more time and download a new copy of iTunes via the link below.

I dropped my phone in water for a few seconds, but it still works. I went to charge the phone but it friend the charger. It still works though. I just cant charge it. Does anyone know what i should do? it actually burnt the tip og the charger and was smoking I have no idea how the phone is still working. I do not want to buy a new phone.

If it fried the charger, then there is something seriously wrong with it. You need to take it to an Apple Store to have it looked at, and be prepared to be told that you will need to get a new phone. If you can't charge it, it will be useless to you in a matter of days anyway. Also, do not even try to hook it up to your computer....you will probably cause serious damage to the computer and be even worse off than you are now.
Sorry about your troubles. But for your own safety, you need to have the phone looked at! Don't wait - if you wait until it has no more charge left, then no one will be able to recharge it to look at it....

I have set up i cloud but my calendars wont sync between MacBook, Ipad and iPhone. Is there a refresh style option or does anyone know what to do to make sure the calendar on my MacBook is the one that the other devices reads. Thanks everyone.
Don't spend a lot of time trying to change it. It's an iCloud problem that's happened before, and when it happened in August it went back to the correct colors in a few days. Just be careful when you add new items to the calendar to use the right calendar (even if the color is wrong), otherwise you'll have things out of synch when the correct colors come back.

Also, for the other people that may have similar problems and are viewing this forum, definitely try this out. Listen to Jim's advice, don't use the most recent version (which is currectly 5.5.47) - instead try a slightly older one. The one I had installed was version 5.5.24.

YES! See the my old instructions below. What you might try after step 5 is to restart you MBP holding down the Option key. Select the new HDD icon and see if it boots. This way you will know that the new HDD is operable.

INSTALLING A NEW HDD IN A MB
1. Make certain that you have backed up all of your important data.
2. You will need a HDD enclosure. One with a USB connection will do. A 9 pin Firewire is better.
3. Install your new drive in the enclosure and connect it to your MBP.
4. Open DISK UTILITY>ERASE. From the left hand column drag the new drive into the 'Name' field. Make sure that the format is 'Mac OS Extended (Journaled)'. Click on the 'Erase' button.
5. Click on the 'Restore' button (on top). Drag the old drive into the 'Source' field and the new drive into the 'Destination' field. Click on the 'Restore' button on the bottom right hand corner.
Depending upon the amount of data you are transferring, this may take a couple hours or more. A Firewire will speed up the transfer. This will result in both drives having identical information on them.
6. After the data transfer has completed, you may swap the drives. Start the MBP and you have finished the installation. The initial boot may take a bit longer than you are accustomed to, but that is normal.
7. When you are satisfied that the new hard drive if functioning properly, you can erase the old drive and use it for any needs that you may have. -

Hi folks. Alright I am a new but I love my Mac. The one thing I just can't get past is the feel of the way the mouse works. It is tooooo smooth. I feel like when i go slow with the motion, it covers less ground as I move, then when I speed up my motion, it feels more in time with the motion. I realize this is pretty hard to explain but does anyone know what i am talking about? Sure it is more precise but I really hate it. Help?

I have been looking for a solution to this for quite some time, and I want to personally thank you for using a little humility to recognize that no, Macs don't behave the same way as other (not just Windows) graphical user interfaces when it comes to the mouse pointer.
I downloaded and purchased (well worth the funds for me) "USB Overdrive" and now I have a pointer that moves around the screen like I'm moving my hands around the screen. So natural this way. So thank you very much for mentioning those haxies or preference applets or whatever you want to call them.

As an old Amiga user, and then Windows user, it has been so disorienting to work around the desktop with Mac OS's non-customizable motion preferences. It often had left me asking myself just what part of the OS is "more friendly?" Sure, it's a rock solid OS, but friendly? C'mon.....Sheesh...You mean after I find a THIRD PARTY HAXIE to make it that way?
Well, now I have nothing to complain about.
By the way, my Speed setting is at 160 dpi, and the Accelertaion is set at 90%, in USB Overdrive. And this feels just right for me.
Now if only I could make my pointer WHITE instead of BLACK, (yes I guess I'm racist...) and make it about four times bigger without making it look like a lego...

With the new iOS 7 update. Does anyone know what the setting "Bold Text" means or will do? Obviously I do know what Bold Text is. It says if you click on this, it says it will restart your iPhone. Before I do this, I'm just wanting to be sure I know what's going to happen.

I went into it and searched for imovie but couldn't find the basic imovie, which I presume is what I'd need for editing?, rather than imovie 11 for £10.49, which is for making trailers, it seems. You only option is to buy a copy of Mac OS X, either the retail disk or system disks.
There are places you can by a copy of Mac OS X, like online vendors, Amazon or eBay.
System disk are gray and come with more than one disk. Retail disk are black with a 'X' on them and often come as one DVD disk.
Not sure what version your going to require as you haven't provided any specification and model details.
I would safely assume being a G4, it would be happy to install Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger.
If you could let us know the PowerBook you own, then I am sure we could advise you further.
