I just installed Lion, and I find my Mail inbox quite incomplete. Yet when I look in my "Smart Mailboxes" I can find the new emails that I was looking for, so they are getting here, just not to my "Inbox". Help!

did you find a solution? I am having the same problem! I can find my emails under 'all mail - where my ingoing and outgoing emails are mixed together)....but not in my INBOX! I get notifications of new emails, but they don't show up in my inbox!

You can sign up for an account with them, being the largest online retailer in the world, they take all major credit cards and/or PayPal account as well.
If I were you, Id do some research on Australian online stores for iLife package before going with Amazon, maybe you could find it cheaper there. But given the bad shape the US Dollar has been in, you might also get a better deal with Amazon, because U$D is so dirt cheap these days!

Dear Ralph, thank you for your lightspeed answer!
When I had installed the app, there was been written: "open", and when I pushed this, NO reaction of the iPad! And crazy too: I am NOT able to find the app itself at any screen of the iPad!!! I can see it only in the list "bought" items. With other words: The app is neither to be seen nor I am able to open it in the "list".

No you just need to turn on Tap to Click. Go into System Preferences - Trackpad and click the Point to Click tab and select the first box which will say Tap to Click and you should be in business.

The only version of Quicken that will work with Lion is Quicken Essentials. Quicken 2007 for Mac (and prior versions) will not. I recommend checking the Intuit website for information regarding using Quicken Essentials with Lion before upgrading to Lion. yeah-find out where you're downloading stuff to, and stick with it. I'm using FireFox and tell it to save the driver and stuff on the desktop, and when I quit FireFox, there it is on the desktop. you'll also need your admin password. It should show up as a .dmg file, then double-click on it to open it. You should see "Brother.pkg" . start up brother.pkg (double click??) and folow the instructions that ought to appear to install the printer driver. If the .dmg file doesn't mount, use Disk Utility** to mount it and get it working. Then you should see the package. and then you can install it.
** you may have to click on the .dmg file and choose "Get Info" then Open with, then choose disk utility, and then open with then change all. then close it. Hopefully that ought to work. If you cannot remember your admin password, I can't help you right now. Looks like you'd need it, to let Brother install that printer driver.

(-10010) The Sudden Motion Sensor may have parked the hard drive head, or the disk performance is not sufficient to read or write all audio tracks, or the system was not able to process all data in time]
Never had any issues before now... any ideas?

Have a look into the Preferences folder (YourUserFolder/Libraries/Preferences/) and trash all Logic preferences.
You'll have to setup the program again.

Select Preferences from the Finder menu and click on the General icon in the toolbar. Check the boxes for items you wish visible. Click on the Sidebar icon in the toolbar. Check or uncheck the boxes for what you want displayed in the Finder's sidebar.

I just installed lion and suddenly I have problems starting the computer

I installed lion on my mac a week ago (mac 20.5 inch) and suddenly I have problems starting the computes, sometimes, but lately almost always, it takes a long time to start up (more than 2 min) and then the keyboard does not work and the mouse works partially i.e. the cursor moves but does not respond to clicks, also, when I move the cursor over the dock it does not appear the tag with the application name I'm over, basically I can't do anything except reboot the hard way. After a few times it usually stops happening but I don't know why exactly. Sometimes after rebooting a message appears indicating that I restarted the computer after having a problem and asks me if I want to open all the applications that I had in the previous session (in this case none) when I say yes the problem keeps happening but when I say no the problem stops. To make thins even more difficult just now it didn't let me choose "cancel" because the keyboard and the mouse have the same problems I explained before.

Are they each separately paired with the computer via BT preferences?
You also can check your Startup Disk preferences by selecting your startup volume then clicking on Restart. Does this cause a faster restart?
You might also try booting into Safe Mode then booting normally. Safe mode takes considerably longer for startup and will require you enter your password.

Just installed Lion and encountering a number of problems

First, the scroll wheel on my Wacom mouse now works back to front. To scroll down I now need to push the scroll wheel forward and to scroll up I have to pull it down. I have the latest Wacom driver. I don't see the ability to alter this in the Wacom preference pane in System Preferences.
Second, I can't get items in Finder to arrange by Name. Folders come first then individual items. I want the whole lot sorted by name - not by name within type - just as before in Snow Leopard.
Third, an item IMG_1874.jpg is listed in Finder's "Favourites" list. I can't select it, I can't drag it off the Finder window to remove it (it just flies back) and I can't open the file of place it in Trash. This was a problem in Snow Leopard that I never fixed and I was hoping it would not be imported with Lion.

This is how they are but instead of all items being arranged simply by Name, folders (in for example the Applications folder) come first and then individual (non-folder) items.
Can't say I'm surprised. I have those same settings in my Lion partition and the only folder (Utilities) in the Applications folder comes last, presumably because it's also alphabetically last. But those and other View settings sometimes change when I reboot. In my Snow Leopard partition, it's always monotonously the same.
