I just lost all of my Apps...... when sync with ituns

Hi,
My old pc crash so I bought a new one with win 7, download the latest I tunes 9.1.079,
And then I sync my iphone,
It ask me if I want to erase and sync so I press the cancel,
The result was the about 70 Apps some paid some are free where lost,
I don’t know why but it did kept 8 apps,
It will take we days to try to get them back,
Its crazy, is there any other way that I can restore all of my apps,

4. The new pc
5 just one more left….

Where is the backup for your old PC with all important data such as documents, photos, etc. which should also include your iTunes library?
In regards to iTunes content, and iPhone can be synced and/or manually managed with an iTunes library on a single computer only and photos can be transferred from a single computer only. When transferring iTunes content and photos from another computer, all iTunes content and photos transferred from a different computer will be erased from the iPhone first.
It won't take you days to get the apps back. You can look up your purchase history with your iTunes account with iTunes which will include free apps followed by redownloading the apps with iTunes on the computer you will be using now. You won't be charged again for a purchased app as long as you use the same iTunes account to redownload the app that was used to purchase the app originally. This shouldn't take long but if it will take you days to do this, the sooner you get started the faster you will get it done.
You can have up to 5 computers authorized with the same iTunes account. Once you reach 5 authorized computers, you can reset this back to zero followed by reauthorizing the computer or computers you are currently using now and need authorized.

Lost all tasks in toodledo when syncing to itunes

I synced my new iPad with my iTunes account for the first time and toodledo (along with all of the other apps I had added) disappeared from my iPad but, were listed in my iTunes library. I synced again and all of the apps reappeared on my iPad but, all of the folders and tasks I created in toodledo were gone.
Is there a way to retrieve my folders and tasks? What can I do to prevent this from happening again?

Got iPhone 6 plus, lost almost all apps when synced with iTunes?? Won't completely back up/restore??

I got a an iPhone 6 plus last night and tried to restore it over iTunes (I backed up my 5s last night just before upgrading). The restore seemed to go fine as always but then an error message came up saying 40 of my apps, the ones I use the most of course, could not be found. None them will show up on my phone at all now. I spent ours trying to get them back on my phone through iTunes to no avail. I went ahead and downloaded them again through the App Store as they were still in the Cloud (I guess?) but now I'm afraid to sync to and back up my phone at all as I don't want to have to do this each time. My Macbook Pro is getting old so I am wondering if I should just start syncing to my husband's newer iMac? But then again, how do I sync to a new computer without losing everything on my phone??

Hi Since ios 7 everything can be done over WiFi you don't need to use your PC When you charge your iPhone it Automatically backs up to iCloud. I would Restore iPhone back to Factory Settings Do this over your WiFi. We have 2 iPhones & 3 iPads and have not used a PC for over a year Sometimes using a PC causes problems it puts things on you don't want. Cheers Brian

All of a sudden, when syncing with iTunes 12, almost all my capacity in my phone is taken by "Other". Used to have just over 10GB of music, now only room for 3.

16 GB iPhone 5. Used to hold about 20 apps and I could load 10GB of music. Today, I was syncing and only had space for 3GB of music. Over 8GB is being used by "Other". Anybody know what "Other" is and how to get rid of it?

I have a very similar issue. Hardware involved:
Apple MacMini (Mid 2011) - OSX 10.8.2. iTunes 10.7. Home Sharing enabled.
Apple TV (3rd Generation). Home Sharing (access) enabled.
Apple MacBook Pro (15" Mid-2009). OSX 10.8.2. iTunes 10.7. Home Sharing enabled.
Apple iPad 2 (Wifi only). iOS 6
Apple iPhone 4S. iOS 6
All connected through:
Apple Time Capsule 8.0211n (4th Gen)
I have an iTunes library on the MacBook Pro, shared over "Home Sharing" and another (duplicate content, different library name) iTunes library on my MacMini, which is also accessed through the Apple TV.
All software is current (as of Sep 26th).
All movies are iTunes purchases. 80 in total.
All files are purchased (and home shared) under one account.
My last two iTunes purchases both HD movies on 09/17/2012 and 09/05/2012 refuse to appear on any device accessing either of the two Libraries over Home Sharing. It should be noted that every other movie (the other 78) all show up and play correctly. I therefore know it is not an issue with connectivity, otherwise I would see zero movies available.
I have:
1. Removed all content from each Library and re-added
2. Upgraded the OS on the MacMini 10.8.2
3. Tested viewing the two missing movies on other Apple devices and no luck.
4. Turn home sharing on and off within iTunes and also on each device.
It would appear to me that the issue is with the files themselves, rather than the devices as different devices and different versions have been tested.
All comments welcome.

IPhone loses play counts when syncing with iTunes

I would like to repeat the question from this thread, which has mistakenly been marked "answered".
When syncing with iTunes, not all play counts are transferred into iTunes. When I turn the iPhone off, it even forgets the complete list of played songs (it is even deleted from iTunes itself).

I have similar problem. Played podcasts becomes UNPLAYED after synch with iTune.

When syncing with itunes, got error message saying had error and now ipad2 will not do anything other than showing the USB cable with arrow pointing to Itunes on screen. have done the reset and restart, but still get same thing.

I had done all of that to no avail. I did call Apple Tech Support and after he suggested I try a USB port in the rear of the Win 7 computer, things starting working again. Disable auto-syncing. Here’s how:
1. Before you plug the iPhone or iPod into the computer, go to iTunes.
2. On a Mac, go to the iTunes menu -> Preferences -> Devices.
On a PC, go to Edit -> Settings -> Devices
3. In the pop up window, look for the icon or tab that says Devices. Choose it.
4. Just below the box, you’ll see a checkbox reading "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically."
5. Check it and click OK at the bottom of the window.
Now when you plug the phone in it won't automatically star syncing.

I lost all of my apps icons today as well. I have to go to the Apps Store and click on the the app. Can't re-dowload and the app. store says that all of my apps. updates were applied. Where is this Synch Apps and the Apps Tab? On the phone or in iTunes. I hope that this works for me, too.
PS - every update that I have done has required a restore, and I only have a couple dozen apps. The Apple rep. I spoke with today said that I have to redownload the apps, but can't do that and even if I could I would loose my data. Grrrrrrr.

Apps purchased on iPad are being deleted when syncing with iTunes

I am having a problem with the apps that I purchase using my iPad not syncing with iTunes. I have purchased several apps and books. When I use my iPad to make the purchase and then plug the device into my computer to allow it to sync, iTunes goes through the process of backing up the iPad and then transfering purchases over. When it gets to the step for syncing tracks it goes and removes all of the apps that it just said it was transfering the purchases over for. Nothing I do seems to work to fix this issue so that the apps aren't removed when I sync. So far the only ones that stay on my computer and device are the apps that I used my computer to buy and then are synced onto my iPad. Please let me know what to do about this as I have lost several apps.

I am not sure what the problem could be.
You may want to try disabling auto-sync, make some purchases on your iPad, and then transfering the purchases and see if they show up in your iTunes library and the checkbox for the apps are checked for syncing to your iPad. If they are then you can try syncing and see if that deletes them from your iTunes library.

Purchased app on iPhone - disappeared when synced with itunes

I purchased an app on my phone a couple weeks ago. Today I synced with iTunes on my PC and the app disappeared from my phone and does not appear in the list of apps in iTunes. "Check for available downloads" in iTunes said that I had no available downloads. The purchase of the app did show up in my purchase history, but that seemed to be the only place.
I was able to get the app back by attempting to purchase it again, at which point iTunes allowed me to download it again for free. However, all of the application data is still gone. And since I synced more than once in this process, the initial iPhone backup (which should have contained all that was lost) has now been overwritten.
This has happened to me several times before, but this is the first time where the application data has been important.
Any ideas as to what went wrong?
Is there any hope for me to recover my application data at this point?
Any way for me to prevent this happening again? (short of never syncing...)

I doubt very much that you can recover the data at this point. The safe way to do things (I found for me at least) is download apps initially via iTunes instead of your phone, then mark them for syncing and do the normal sync. I purchased all of my apps this way and sync several times a week with no problem. I also do all the app updates thru iTunes.

I purchased music direct via my iPhone but when I synced with iTunes some of my albums were missing. What is also weird is that the digital booklets have synced but I can't find the songs. How do I get them back?
I know that Apple has a policy to not downloading twice but I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm not all that confident either so would really appreciate the help.

Restored Iphone App always deleted when synced with iTunes

I inadverantly deleted the iPhone App, 1Password. Although I am able to re-install it by either a new download from the Apple Store or by a full iTunes Restore, the app keeps getting purged from my iPhone everytime I sync with iTunes. How do I correct this?

Check your list of applications in iTunes. If it isn't there go to the App store and download it again. Connect your iPhone and before syncing starts select the iPhone in the sidebar to the left and then select the applications tab across the top. Find 1Password in the list and make sure it has a checkmark.

Missing Ringtone When Syncing with iTunes - How do I remove Corrupt Ringtones from my iPhone?

PLEASE HELP! I've been having trouble with a ringtone I purchased a few months back. Everything was fine, until a month ago when i synced my phone with iTunes, and my ringtone suddenly disappeared. I have tried several times to sync / resync my phone again and again, and the ringtone is not there. It is in my iTunes library under Tones, and it plays when I double-click on it. But for some reason it won't sync over to my phone. I've been in contact with Apple Support over email and they have put the ringtone back on my account twice, and both times I have been able to download it back directly to my iPhone. But it's the same story all over again when I sync with iTunes... the ringtone just disappears, even when I checked "Sync Tones".
Interestingly enough, when I take a look at my iPhone in iTunes, under Tones, there are 4 instances of the ringtone, all of them have an error icon next to them, as shown in the screenshot below:
I've tried to NOT sync ringtones, but this list still appears. For some reason I cannot delete these corrupt ringtones from my phone.
In my library, the ringtones appear fine, and play fine when I double-click on them. I don't know why there are 2 of them though.
Please help! I've been at this for a month and cannot find a solution! I've re-bought the ringtone twice, but everytime I sync, it disppears all over again. I think removing the corrupt ringtones from the iPhone may solve the issue. Once I remove the corrupt files, I can start from scratch since the ones in my library play fine. But the problem is I don't know how to remove the corrupt files from my phone. Please help!
