i just ordered an iphone 5 and got some number what can i do with it?
Why do you need to do anything with it? Depending on what you selected, the phone will either show up at your house, or you will have to go pick it up at the store. If you ordered it for pickup, you will need that number when you go.

After taking quite a while to decide to purchase a new iphone, I just ordered one today (16GB white). I know its a long shot, but any chance it will ship sooner than 10/12? Ive been hearing that orders with a 9/26 and 10/5 delivery date were getting shipped early so.. just a thought.
According to a representative I spoke with earlier, although on verizonwireless.com shows that the next shipping date is 10/12, there is the possibility that it will be shipped on 10/5. I was told that this was more likely to happen if the order was made through a live representative on the phone... I'm just ****** that I had to reorder a second time even though I had a confirmed order made on 9/14 at 3:29 am which got cancelled for no apparent reason...

It said that "We've billed you for Apple services only. You will not receive a physical item."
What does "you will not receive a physical item" mean? Won't I be able to receive my
iPhone 4s when the order is finally completed?

Within that email it should show what you ordered, estimated shipping time, price, billing and shipping address. This is the same information I received when I completed my order and it appeared on my computer screen. I would double check your invoice that you were emailed - as suggested above.

The iPhone 4/4S requires a Micro SIM for activation on a GSM network.
When you receive the phone, you will find that the tray that holds the Micro SIM Card is too small to hold a SIM Card.
Some people may say to cut down a normal size SIM card, but I would recommend against this as the connections inside the phone that connect with the Micro SIM are delicate and easily damaged by non-standard Micro SIM cards. -

Just bought an iPhone 5s, as I turned on the phone it showed 71% of battery, I drained it to 15% and next charged it for 3 and a half hours to fully charge. Did I do any mistake ? Should have I let it to get discharged in order to fully charge it ? Somebody told me I should have let it discharged and then to fully charge, but I didn't do it, my iphone is working very well, the battery too but I'm worried if the battery lifespan is gonna get worsen soon if I didn't abide by the rules and procedures of battery charging.
I had problems on my previous iPhone 4s, it died because I didn't replaced the battery with a new one because my battery never worked well and I never knew it , the battery used to overheat my iPhone and it caused to damage my processor completely to death. Who does the replacement of the iphone processor? I need help how to maintain with the iphone battery. And also let me know if I did something wrong that I should get worried about or not ?!?!Apple does not fix the iPhone 4S, they replace the phone. If not covered by warranty, called an out of warranty exchange. Cost is US $199. Make an appointment at any Apple store.

Just updated to iphone 5 and cant Sync with Mac. Asking for OS 10.6 and cant find it. Current Mac OS X Version is 10.5.8. Is there any more downloads I need to do in order to sync new iphone 5? Thanks

Yes you can. However, it is better to use one person's account most of the time for purchases in the Mac App Store and iTunes since you can share purchases, such as songs, among various devices using the SAME account. You Cannot share purchases among different accounts, though. So make one of your accounts the main "purchasing" account so you can share purchases.

San Diego Locations for Iphone 4 or Just Order ?
I just was wondering if anyone here know if any of the Apple Stores in San Diego may have the Iphone 4 in stock? Or Should I just order online? I don't expect Bestbuy or AT&T to have them. Thanks for any Info.
i called a best buy here in LA... i believe it was tuesday or wednesday. Unfortunately i had to work until about 7pm so it wasnt' till then that i called. They said they HAD gotten about 10 or so in, but were now sold out.. bummer.
I just called 3 walmarts (they open at 8am, it's 830am) and none had gotten any in. I'll be calling all the best buys at 10am when they open. But i heard reports from some best buys last week that they receive theres on tuesdays. (and i also read reports of tuesday, wed, thur, sat)
sorry for the rambling, that being said, call your local best buys everyday at 10am when they open and ask, and be ready to drive there quick! -

If T-Mobile in the US, while your phone will activate/work, you won't have FaceTime, MMS or 3G. T-Mobile, in the US, is not a supported iPhone carrier, thus all features of the iPhone may not be available. T-Mobile's 3G network, in the US, is not compatible with the iPhone.

I just ordered an iphone4s to replace my iphone4 w/ att, and i was just wondering if i will have to have a new phone number when it comes in the mail. or if i can place the sim card into the new one and keep the same phone number.. any info is appreciated ty.
Just follow these simple steps:
1) Connect your current iPhone 4 to iTunes for a complete sync and backup.
2) Move the SIM card from the old phone to the new iPhone 4s.
3) Connect the new 4s to iTunes, and select "Restore from backup".
That should duplicate everything that was on the old phone to the new one- apps, music, settings, the whole shebang.

Just ordered iPhone 4GB should I upgrade to an 8GB ?
A few days ago right after Apple announced the price reduction on the iPhones I ordered an iPhone 4GB from the Apple.com website as I look further I noticed there are some refurbished 8GB iPhones available for $349 has anyone had any experience with the refurbished iPhones from Apple? Are they just as good as new ones? Is there really a huge difference in the 4GB to 8GB i doubt i'll be adding alot of videos to the iPhone. Would it be wise just to keep the 4GB even though its been discontinued?
Much depends on what you're going to be using your iPhone for (i.e. iPod, prolonged internet surfing etc.) as not everyone utilizes every facet of the phone. You mentioned that you probably wouldn't be downloading a lot of videos but it's nice to know you have that option with memory to spare. Even at full price, it was worth it for me to pay the extra $100 and double the capacity. I've not heard much feedback on the iPhone refurbs but Cingular/AT&T have always provided good quality with other refurbished phones in the past.
