Just realised my question has been answered further down.
I will read other posts more thoroughly. But isn't it a bit pants that you cant do a straightforward thing like change from caps to lowercase if you have typed in caps on Pages. I'm starting to regret changing from PC to Mac.
My guess it depends on how you achieved the capitalisation from the beginning. I don't use it for whole word only as a start of a sentence or names. If you use a font that only has large letter(small or large Caps) you can't expect it to change to lower case.

When I do a "CLEAR RECENT HISTORY" and THOUGH I DO NOT ACTIVATE THE FIRST LINE "BROWSING AND DOWNLOAD HISTORY", MY DOWNLOADS ARE NEVERTHELESS DELETED.

I apologize if this is a repeat, but I can't tell if my question has been posted.
For the past several weeks, all incoming traffic via Safari 5.0.5, but not Firefox,containing cost/price figures appear in Euros, not US Dollars. My responses, however, are received correctly in US Dollars. Wierd, and irritating. Any ideas?To answer the post title FireFox save all downloads automatically in the download folder, which you can find in the Documents folder. If you want to choose where to save your downloads go to tools>options>check always ask me where to save files.
Secondly, I am assuming you have IE 8 installed as this is the only version that supports this fix that is currently not in beta. Go to control panel>internet options>advanced tab and reset the settings at the bottom. This may or may not fix the problem but it is a good first step. -

Help! My Mouse pad is not working properly. The arrow cannot be controlled, it just keeps jumping all over the page. How can I stop this?
There are several possible causes for this issue. Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried until it's resolved. Some may not apply in your case.
1. Follow the instructions in this support article, and also this one, if applicable. A damaged or defective AC adapter could be the cause, even if it's the right kind.
2. Press down all four corners of the trackpad at once and release. If there's any effect, it's likely to be temporary, and in that case the unit must be serviced or replaced.
3. Open the Bluetooth preference pane in System Preferences and delete all pointing devices other than the trackpad, if applicable. Disconnect any USB pointing devices. By a "pointing device," I mean a peripheral that moves the cursor, such as a trackpad, mouse, trackball, or graphics tablet. A plain keyboard is not a pointing device.
4. Start up in safe mode and test, preferably without launching any third-party applications. If you don't have the problem in safe mode, but it comes back when you restart as usual, stop here and post your results. Do the same if you can't start in safe mode. If there was no difference in safe mode, go on to the next step.
5. Reset the System Management Controller.
6. If you're using a Bluetooth trackpad, investigate potential sources of interference, including USB 3 devices.
7. A swollen battery in a portable computer can impinge on the trackpad from below and cause erratic behavior. If you have trouble clicking the trackpad, this is likely the reason. The battery must be replaced without delay.
8. There's a report that a (possibly defective) Thunderbolt Ethernet adapter can cause the built-in trackpad of a MacBook to behave erratically. If you're using such an adapter, disconnect it and test.
9. There's also a report of erratic cursor movements caused by an external display that was connected but not turned on.
10. If none of the above applies, or if you have another reason to think that your computer is being remotely controlled, remove it from the network by turning off Wi-Fi (or your Wi-Fi access point), disconnecting from a Bluetooth network link, and unplugging the Ethernet cable or USB modem, whichever is applicable. If the cursor movements stop at once, you should suspect an intrusion.
11. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine and/or external trackpad tested. -
rather than my home page, when I start up firefox it opens a page to check plugins and then I have to wait for it to load all the way before i can close out and continue on.

There's a black and white striped glitch on the left side of my screen on my Macbook Air! Its happened before and has been an easy fix, usually just restart or turn off my computer but don't know what else to do. Is there anything I can try now? She can't from iCloud without setting up your iCloud account on her phone. But just sync the same apps from your iTunes Library on your computer to her phone.
Your wife should setup her own iCloud account - which is separate to the iTunes Store accounts. -
I have noticed that this question has been asked a lot, but I am still not understanding. How do I move ALL of my music on iTunes into iCloud? I have subscribed to match and increased my iCloud storage. Only part of my music is in the Cloud and not on my iPhone.

When I open Live Mail using the Firefox browser, how often is new mail received?
Firefox 13, Windows Vista, I use Thunderbird as my default email program and in past versions of Firefox I was able use a custom button to open Thunderbird to receive mail. In the options menu - applications - there is a mailto content type but no option to open Thunderbird inbox?

How can I replace the folder icons in a Picture Library with a thumbnail of a photo in a folder? I know I can do something very similar in the 'getting started' list by using a 'Promoted Links List' does the picture library
