I just purchase a new desktop computer (Lenovo) operation system window 7 and had and Kaspersky Anti-virus install, however it appear that it does work with firefox version 7. Any advise for me because I'm an strong user of Firefox browser.

You can turn off compatibility checking, but more and more of the Google Toolbar will not work. Google is no longer supporting the Google Toolbar so you should use the alternatives.

Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

It has been indicated that both of those cameras will be supported in the final release of Camera Raw 8.7. But there is no announced release date. There never is. I assume it will be before December 31. But that is only my guess based on the fact that the release candidate expires then.

Personally I would hold off a few weeks and buy a copy of Mountain Lion for $19.99 and you will be able to install it on as many computers as you own, from all reports. This was the case with Lion. But not with the preloaded version shipped on the Macs themselves. That will let you be able to update all compatable Macs you own with the download.

I PURCHASED THE NEW AIRPORT EXTREME 802.11AC I SET IT UP AFTER I PUT MY MAC TO SLEEP I COME BACK AND IT SAYS CAN NOT FIND AIRPORT EXTREME I HAVE TO RESTART AND IT FINDS IT.

Try the following, in order, until (hopefully) resolved:
1a. Delete Preferred Network(s)
System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab
Under "Preferred Networks," delete the network(s) you regularly use from the list.
1b. Delete AirPort Keychain Entries
Launch the "Keychain Access" application located in Applications/Utilties.
In the windows on the left side: Select login for Keychains and "All Items" for Category.
Click on the "Kind" filter at the top, and look for any "AirPort network password" entries...and delete them.
1c. Add Preferred Network(s)
System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab
Add the preferred network(s) using the "+" button.
Restart or log out then back in.
2. Move System Configuration Files
(Note: You will have to reestablish your network connections settings.)
Go to /Library/Preferences
Move the SystemConfiguration folder to the desktop.
Restart your Mac. (Note: OS X will rebuild the files that are now sitting on your desktop. If this doesn't resolve the issue, you can move the folder back to it's original location.)

Hotsyncing to new desktop Dell XP operating system

I think I have installed the software correctly. The little hotsync blue & red arrows
show up on my screen in the lower right hand spot. The little picture of the Palm shows up on the desktop screen...... But when I press the hotsync button on the cradle, it won't do it. And then I get the meaagse on the Palm that it was unable to connect to the computer. What am I doing wrong?

I am having trouble with my keyboard. Some of the keys I use in conjunction with the Shift key do not produce the symbols I want - especially those above the number keys. For instance Shift+3 produces the £ sign instead of the hash symbol (which I cannot locate anywhere on my keyboard) and the @ sign has to be produced by using the Shift key + the " key. I have sent email messages to HP Help online, have followed the instructions they have given me regarding re-setting my input options in the Control Panel, but to no avail.
Can someone help me with this frustrating issue I have.

I'm assuming you are using Win 7.
It seems like your keyboard isn't set to US Region.
Please go to Control Panel -> Clock, Language, and Region. Click on "Change Keyboards or other input methods". Click on "Change keyboards". Capture a screenshot and post it here.

You still have to make the new computer and the iTunes library the new syncing library. Did you transfer all of your content into iTunes yet or copy the iTunes library from the old PC to the new one?

If you did tranfer everything over, you probably have to set up WiFi syncing again in iTunes in order for the iPad WiFi settings to see your new computer.

Can't get 4050n printer to work with new Desktop Computer: running XP

I have a new Desktop Computer, dual processor, which is running XP and MS office 2007. I had my 4050N HP Laserwriter hooked up to my old desktop (which failed in the last two weeks, blown capacitor, etc) and it worked fine with XP on that computer.
So I downloaded the drivers I found for HP 4050N running XP, and can't even get a test page. The connectors seem to be ok. I had to buy a parallel port to USB cable and I have that plugged into the USB port at the back of my new desktop.
Any ideas of what else I should try? If I had a computer virus with the old machine, could it have affected my printer somehow?
I'm at a loss.

Since you mention doing an upgrade I would be inclined to reset the printing system and then add the R2880 queue again.
Open System Preferences > Print & Fax
Move your mouse over the Printers list
Hold down the Control button and click the mouse
Click the "Reset printing system ..." popup
Restart your Mac
This will remove your print queues but not your printer drivers. So you will only need to add your printer queues again.

Because it was valuable software it was never downloadable; also it was a special "OEM" version that could I think only be installed from that CD.
Acrobat 7 doesn't work properly on Windows 7 and later anyway.
