I just purchased an ipad air and can't get the iwork apps for free as advertised.

Just purchased ipad air.
iwork apps are still showing up as 10 bucks.
How do I get them for free like you are supposed to??

You can view your registered device(s) here and if there are any you've missed registering, you can do so that as well. You can also register new devices here.
Afterwards, visit the App Store and your free apps should be available to you.

I didn't know if there was some kind of window for gettting these apps for free still since I made a purcahse with the past 6 or 7 weeks. Worth a shot I guess. Try holding down the Shift key in Windows when opening iTunes. In the resulting dialogue you will get the option to create a new library or navigate to an existing one. The default location for your iTunes library is in C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\ (or C:\Username\Music\iTunes\ in Vista). Look in there and see if you have more than one library file (they have the extension .itl) If you have more than one try opening them in turn, you may find your original library is still intact: How to open an alternate iTunes Library file

I am able to get the 'Home sharing' 'user and password on my Mac.
Also using IPad 2 I am able to get the ITunes to accept the user name and same password as the Mac.
However, the only way I can see the 'Home sharing; icon is in Music on the Ipad. When I tap on the Icon it asks for a password.
When I give the same password, it is rejected.

Personally I think the iOS devices are poor at reconnecting - Airplay establishes that a link is available but when the iPhone/iPad has been away from the house and rejoins the network i think AppleTV already thinks it's connected with a different IP address and fails to recognise it has joined the network again with new credentials.
Something along those lines anyway.
I find that a combination of restarting AppleTV, router and iOS device tends to fix it, but not for everyone.

Afraid not. Reason being, the apps that run on your iPhone are designed for iOS.
Apps that run on your Mac are designed for OS X.
Two different operating systems.
Those apps must be purchased separately from the App Store on your Mac.

I believe the Facebook App requires (or at least it did in the past) the screen to be rotated to Landscape to access/enable chat functions/enable online status (I believe at the bottom-right of the screen). You need to set your online status to available (or whatever their terminology is) to have other people see your online status and availability to chat.

The boxed packaging is not sold by Adobe direct. If you want to explore that type of purchase which offers the perk of a Windows and a Mac installation disc, you need to purchase from an authorized reseller who is not going to offer you "upgraded pricing". The seller would be its own entity with its own pricing and own return/refund policy. Sometimes the authorized reseller price may be less than the Adobe"upgraded pricing".
Did you purchase your Premiere Elements 13 Mac from Adobe direct and are within 30 days of purchase? If so, you can contact Adobe Chat Orders to ask for return/refund. And, then you can explore the authorized resellers for pricing and availability of the box packaging. Maybe check out the pricing all around before making any final decisions.

I bought a new ipad,iphone and mac. all activated for the first time with the same apple id. i can download all iwork apps for free at that time because the devices were bought after iwork is free for "new" devices. later on i'm thinking of creating a new apple id, can i still download iwork apps for free with the new apple id on all my 3 devices?

Once they've been downloaded they can't be downloaded again using a different Apple ID.

The store told me that Mavericks was guarenteed for 6 months. So when I bought it early, (knowing that Mavericks was coming), I had no fears. But to watch the keynote today, and come home and see the cost is a bit of a sour Apple.

64-bit versions of Windows 8 and Windows 7 are supported using the Boot Camp 5 Support Software. If you need to use a 32-bit version, you need to use Boot Camp 4 Support Software, and you must use Windows 7. 32-bit versions of Windows 8 are not supported via Boot Camp.

I'm not sure how it works though since I bought it through the Itunes app store, not adobe directly. Am I out of luck?

Theoretically you can use the itunes version to qualify for adobe's upgrade discount, but that's it. All download versions are single platform. And in many countries the street price of the full version of PSE is less than adobe's upgrade price, so it's usually not worth pursuing that. However, if you wish to, I'm told you use your apple ID as your serial number when asked. I don't know anyone who's done this, so I don't know how well it really works.

That is not a 90 day guaranrtee. It is a 90 warranty which only covers workmenship and materials not damage. So no. You are going to have to pay to get it replaced.
