I just purchased photoshop elements12 7 days ago. I have yet to be able to get my redemption code to work. I cannot retrieve my serial number with out it.

I have gone thru all the links to try to get it to work (several times), including uninstalling and reinstalling, called Best Buy where I purchased it, called the Best Buy 1-888 Main Geek Squad number, and now I am back to this adobe forum trying to get SOMEONE to assist me in getting my redemption code to work. Can you help me?

I have a similar issue with Photoshop CS6. The site would not give me the serial number when I provided the Redemption Code. It said I didn't need a serial number, just install/download the software. The install process requires the serial number. I ended up in chat. Apparently they have retrieved my serial number and I should now be able to sign into my Adobe account and retrieve it. The catch is that they said it could take up to 24 hours to show up for me. So I have lost the day now.
So my suggestion is to go to the customer support chat function. Maybe your results will be a bit more timely than mine.

I had no problems installing snow leopard on top of 10.5.8 Why not go for it. For myself I do have the back-up system in place. When 10.6.0 first came out I tried it twice and replaced with my cloned back-up twice before I finally committed to it after 10.6.1 It is your call. There are certain fundamentals, like having enough free hard drive space for the upgrade to take place. Good Luck !

Don't buy a netbook. Buy a laptop that is at least 16".
netbook are usually for laptops that are smaller than 15"
For gaming make sure it has a DIRECT VIDEO MEMORY OF 2GB.
RAM 4GB at least.
Processor intel core 2 duo; intel 2 core quad; or any of the intel ix series such as i3 i5 or i7 the newest intel processor

Just for those who are interested, this is what cleared the "bookmark menu" trbl I had.
Open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Bookmarks, then reselect it.
Quit and relaunch Safari. Try a bookmark again.

There is only one file to download - which one depends on your system (32-bit or 64-bit).
These are the trial versions but will convert to the full version when you supply your serial number.

I have just purchased Photoshop Elements 13. I think it was installed. The title shows in my 'Downloads File'. I have tried double clicking on 'install' in the downloads file. All I get is a page of data that doesn't seem to do anything. When I purchased Photoshop Elements 12 there was no problem. The apps appeared on my monitor and I went to work. What appears on my monitor for Photoshop 13 is a file picure. When I click on it I go to the Downloads File. Can anyone help me?

Which Operating System you are using?
In the serial number window, on the title bar check if the product name is Photoshop elements 13
There are some PE serial number which is specific for windows OS, you may check that also.
You can contact Adobe support and verify your serial number once

It's possible.. In fact, I don't think it added one for me. Go to the Creative Cloud app and try launching it from there (just click on the Photoshop icon).
