Resize or crop the photo to 960 pixels by 640 pixels, then email it to yourself. Open the email on your phone, tap the attached photo and choose Save to save it to your camera roll. You can then select the photo from your camera roll to use as your wallpaper (by going to Settings>Wallpapers & Brightness and tapping the wallpaper shown, if using iOS 7). The wallpaper on the left in settings is your lock screen background, the image on the right is your home screen wallpaper.

Your iPhone or iPod is NOT a primary storage device. The music lives on your computer and is basically loaned out to your mobile devices for play on the go.
If you have a backup of the iTunes library, you will need to restore it. Otherwise, there is no offically supported way to get music from your phone to your computer other than music purchased on the device from the iTunes store.
If you don't have a backup of your music library, you'll probably need to get the CD's out and start ripping.
Next time, instead of deleting the things you don't want your daughter to have access to, consider creating a separate user account on the computer for her and letting her create her own iTunes library there. -
My account was deleted for security issues. I made a new account, but I can't syncronise my apps with this new account. I bought a new Iphone and would like to transfer the apps ans music on this new one. Can somebody help me?
Why would you make a new account? This will likely cause many problems. Just get you old account enabled.

If you are using one of Lightroom's "date-based" folder templates, then the folders are created in accordance with the image capture date, not the date that you happen to import it. If you specifically want to use the import date for your folder names then you probably don't want to use the Lightroom date template, and instead you'll need to setup your folder names manually.

Nope. You can only have one credit card attached to an account at a time. Its not that big of a deal to use two accounts, users do this all the time. Create the second account(UK Account) in iTunes on your computer...sign out of your Italian account first. Then authorize your computer for this new account: Store>Authorize this computer. Then sync your phone. Now, to switch accounts on your phone: Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...then sign back in with the ID you want to use.

you can change the page orientation by selecting the menu item "File > Print..." then adjust the orientation in "Page Orientation" section, then click "Done" (or "Print", if you want to print).

Hi. When you were in the recovery drive doing permissions, did you try and run a repair of the boot drive? Did you try single user mode? Try these first and then go back and try to reinstall the operating system.When I say repair boot drive I don't mean permissions. There are both options in disk utilities.When you open disk utilities ,you will see in the left column two drives plus possibly a boot partition that look like an external driv. click on the second drive and in first aid use repair disk. I am getting a bad XML(not valid) from external web service and I would like to change the content of the body in OSB proxy service to make it valid.
For example

Do you how can I do this?I don't think it would be the best solution but you may try -
1. Conver the incoming XML to string using fn-bea:serialize() function
2. Replace the not-required content with a blank
3. Covert the string back to XML using fn-bea:inlinedXML
If you find any other solution, please let us know.

I bought my iMac Pro on ebay so did not get the chance to go through the Set up from the very beginning. I've noticed 2 consequences; one is that the name of the user is not my own. The second is that when I go to facebook her name and password are in the log in boxes.

I am not sure what operating system I have or where it says this.By far the best thing to do is to do rannable's last suggestion and get rid of the previous user's account. Something they should have done instead of leaving personal information and passwords where you can easily get at them.
Open the System Preferences and click on the Accounts icon. Click the lock at the lower left. You will need to know admin password of the previous owner. Click the + button to create a new Administrator account. Fill in whatever name you want the account to have and choose a password. Click Create Account.
Log out and log back in to your new account. Go into the System Preferences again and the Accounts section. Click the lock button again, only this time, you would use the password for the new account you just created since that's what you logged into OS X with.
Highlight the old account and click the - button to delete it. Click the last radio button, "Delete the home folder" to completely remove the old account from the hard drive. Your new admin account will be the only one left.
Your new account will make the Mac look and behave like it just came out of the box since all of the desktop preferences will be the defaults. Customize to your liking. -

Since you indicated that you were using OS X (10.6.8)......
Open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility
Click on AirPort Express, then click Manual Setup
Click the Wireless tab located under the row of icons
Edit the Wireless Network Name as you wish
Click Update to save the new changes
Allow a full minute for the AirPort Express to restart -
i just bought apple tv and would like to set it up so it works right away. i have samsung tv and yamaha receiver. do i plug hdmi into receiver? i assume plugs are in back of machined so i have to get behind all electronic equipment? does that make sense?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
If your receiver is connected to your TV by HDMI and has a spare HDMI input port, then yes plug the HDMI cable from the Apple TV into your receiver.
If that's not possible the HDMI lead from the Apple TV can go straight to the TV and you can connect the receiver to the Apple TV with an optical audio cable.

Time Machine Backup of iPhoto Library 5 gigabytes smaller!?!?
Thankfully I've not yet had to rely on my time machine backup. I just delved into the "latest" folder within my backup and find that my iphoto library is 5 gigabytes less in there than on my HD. Shouldn't the latest folder be the...ya know....latest?
