I just received an itunes gift card. I am unable to redeem it bc every time i click on the redeem box it takes me to a download itunes page. I have downloaded the 64 bit itunes twice!!! im aggravated!

The code is under the scratchoff area on the back side of the card. Note that an iTunes card sold in the UK will only be valid in the UK, so if you live in another country, you will not be able to use that card.

Whene using a link supplied from a university online learning mode, the link appears immediatly, HOWEVER, i then lose the university page and have to login in again. I find myself having to re login multiple times as I need to go into several links, several ltimes a day.

I'd try starting Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If you don't have the issue while all of your add-ons, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them back in one by one until you find the culprit. You should look at the [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting-extensions-themes Extensions and Themes troubleshooting guide ] and the [[Troubleshooting plugins]] article as well.

Every time I click a link it opens a new window when it is only suppost to open in the same window.
This just started recently and all the other suggestions did not work. So i am trying to get a more up to date solution to this problem please help.
Does this affect all sites? If it only affects some sites, could you give examples?
Note: for Google, you can turn this on and off in the search settings. Click the "gear" (Options) icon, then Search settings, then uncheck the box for "Open each selected result in a new browser window". -

How do I get my email links to open in Safari again?!
I'm using a Mac 10.6.8 operating systemNo. If you simply click on a hyperlink in pretty much anything, Safari will open since it is the default browser. The only option you have is tap and hold on the link, and then select Add to reading list. It will then be stored int eh reading list in Safari.

Sorry, but there's no way you could find out who redeemed the card. If your mail is being stolen, this is an issue you need to take up with the Post Office Inspection Service.

Can't install an iTunes gift card, can't redeem giftcard balance
Having MAJOR problems here, I hope someone can help! We have an iTunes account set up already with a gift card balance still in there (it USED to work), but ever since Christmas when we go to download something, and the box comes up that says "are you sure you want to buy and download?" and I click "buy", then this thing pops up "iTunes store terms & conditions have changed....please read & agree to....." so I check the box that says I have read and agree to iTunes terms & conditions...click continue....then this thing pops up, "Your request could not be completed...make sure your computers date is set correctly and that it accepts cookies from the iTunes music store, for detailed solutions to resolve this issue click More Info"....I click on More Info, it takes me to THIS page http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93440
So I have made sure my date and time are correct numerous times over, this page is really of no help to me as i have Windows Vista not XP or 2000, plus my problem is not even listed on this page they want me to visit for "more info". I have an apple account. I have a 32 bit system. I have iTunes 7.6 downloaded. I know of no US Federal agency that allows an employee to download and install any software on a government owned computer. Doing so is a security violation. Plus, no employee has the necessary privileges to install software.
Some agencies are not permitting use of personal devices, that is, smart phones and tablets, but those are required to use the Division system to isolate all government content from personal content.
The Apple Store for Government may have a way to purchase, but installation requires the permission of your agency. -

Obviously you typed in the wrong number. Try using the card on another purchase.

Okay, I got it you want to send someone an Allowances, To do that you will need their e-mail address then log into your iTunes account and scroll down to the bottom to the Manage Allowances. Click on manage, then add an new allowance.

The amount has been redeemed against your iTunes account. You can't "deactivate" the card.

Why not?
Take about 3 seconds. You can log in on any computer you want but you don't need to log in to the iTunes store unless you are going to actually purchase something.
Just don't let anyone log onto your computer account and they cannot use your iTunes account if you stay signed into it.

Sign out of your iTunes account.
This simply prevents purchases on your account,. It does not deauthorize the computer.
The card cannot be used on any other iTunes account because it was redeemed on yours. -

I received an iTunes Gift Card as a Christmas Present in the amt of #15.00. I validated it using the code on the card on your web site and was informed I now have a $15.00 credit. I then attempt to buy music downloads and when I attempt to pay using the code on the gift card I am told it is an invalid code. Several times I have tried getting the same results. Since it was a gift I do not have a receipt or know where the card was purchased. This is very discouraging. Help please....

Our family has 1 Apple id with 2 itouches, 1 ipad and 1 iphone. My sons received several itunes gift cards. Can I set up sub-accounts under my id and deposit their gift cards into them (like a bank account)? If I can't, it seems that I will have to keep track of each of their purchases until they reach the limit of their gift cards, before they go over. This makes no sense. If I have to create new ids, will they lose access to all the content purchased under my id?
- You can't create subaccounts.
- You can create new account(s). The media on the iPod is still usable. It does create more work when updating apps since yo have to sign into the account that purchased them to update them. If you have apps purchased from more than one account that need update you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased with one account.
- To change accounts for purchasing go to Settings> Store (or Settings.iTunes and App store depending upon the iOS) and sign out and sign in with different account. -
I changed my AppleID password this morning and now I can't load gift card numbers into iTunes to download music. The system takes me to the account settings screen to verify those and when I click on DONE, it takes me back to the password screen and I start over. This becomes an endless loop. What now.

If you can't redeem your iTunes Gift Card or code
Contact iTunes Store Support
If the code is completely scratched off or you still can't redeem your gift card, contact iTunes Support:
Go to the iTunes Store support page and choose your country.
From the menu on the left, choose Contact Support.
Click Contact iTunes Store Support.
Follow the instructions.
iTunes Store Support might ask you to send these things:
Image of the full front and back of your gift card
Sales receipt showing when your card was purchased
Serial number from your gift card

I activated an iTunes gift card, my iPod showed the amount available ($15) then after downloading 2 songs my balance was $.04. Any ideas on what happened to the rest of my funds or how I can find out where the rest of my money went?
- Have youwent to yur iTunes account looked at your puchase history for purchases thant y might have forgotton?
- Maybe you had an unpaid balance before redeeming the card.
