I just recently completely reset my iPod touch and now it won't let me connect to wifi, it won't even let me access the wifi option in the settings. The wifi button is grey and says: "no wifi"
So I've been trying looking at manuals and online and I can't find anything helpful at all!!! help please? D:
Not a good sign. Here is Apple's article on that. Frequently it is due to a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Same for me with Iphone 5 and IOS 7 on mac pro. Install ITunes 11.1 and after reboot nothing work. Work only with Mac Pro in safe mode.

Did you get a message in iTunes that said iTunes found an iPod in recovery mode? If not then you might have not gotten the iPod in recovery mode. Try using this program to get the iPod in recovery mode:

Hi, I just recently purchased an ipod touch 5 and have already forgotten my password. I have not yet connected it to my computer so when I tried today it didn't show up as a device. When I tried to go into icloud on my other device, thinking that may help, it would not let me change the email because it was my school ipad. What should I do?
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Select Settings>General>About and look at Version. This will show what version of iOS is installed. Post back with the version & then we can provide some suggestions.

I have just received a brand new IPOD Touch ,it will not turn on, i have connected it to my cmputer, it does not show that its charging and is not recognised in Itunes. I have tried the holding down the power and home buttons which also didnt work. Any Ideas Please ????

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

hi just got my new apple ipod touch and to download apps it wants to add questions about myself for more sercurity information. i get up to question 3 and it wont let me select a question but it will let me write an answer so i just pressed done and then it says i cant carry on because ive mised out information when it wont let me do a question!

You might try to see if you can change your security questions. Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account > Password and Security.
I'm able to do this, others say they need to input answers to their current security questions in order to make changes, I'm inclined to think its worth a try, you don't have anything to lose.
If that doesn't help you might try contacting Apple through Express Lane (select your country, navigate to iCloud help and enter the serial number of one of your devices) -

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.

- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.

You should get it looked at by visiting an Authorized Apple Service Provider or an Apple Store next to your place, this might be a hardware issue.
